A Few too many turnovers for my liking and he did lead his team with a -8 in the plus minus but the shot does play. I would be careful comparing him to Keaton, Keaton had 4 turnovers twice all year.
+/- is a bit deceptive in games like that. And while I agree we're going to need him to take care of the ball, I don't think he's been particularly turnover prone in the past so I'm not sure that's a reason to worry. His game is pretty much seems the finished article in most aspects. My one tiny concern is that in all of the highlights I've seen of him, and there have been many, I've never seen him finish with his left hand. Does that mean he needs to work on his left hand? I'm not sure. But that's nit picking at this point. This kid has the talent to be an absolute superstar, and I'm excited to see him play for us.

If that final score shown is any indication, then the amount of possessions is way off the charts. Not seeing the game, those turnovers may be an anomaly. I think he is going to be a very nice replacement for a generational player who will be greatly missed. The staff worked wonders here. Be grateful. Quentin, your table is set!

Expectation is two have two guards drafted next year. And I think the freshman will be lottery.
Well, if that happens we wont miss Blackwell and next season transfers, plus new high school recruits should be lined up to come in here to follow that path. Especailly if the guys all ready in the league continue to pop. Maybe give Davis or others something to talk about.

We'rre gonna love Coleman and Vaaks. Both have great length and are dangerous shooters from deep. That should really stretch any defense.
4/5 of our projected starters are very good outside shooters (for their position). Andrej should have a lot of space to drive to the bucket.

tons of space

and he's going to have tons of great looks from 3. FWLIW, I'm thinking 35% is reachable, provided the vast majority of his takes are ones he should take (which I think is pretty much a given)

The thing I want Andrej to focus on is being a more willing passer. He averaged 1 assist/game last year. When he got the ball everyone in the building knew a drive was coming.

Make the extra pass and keep the ball moving. The ball will come back to you. Trust your teammates.

So no one is going to comment on his A/TO or his +/- ... what has this forum come down to? Stop taking the meds people.... we need to get through the summer somehow....

expecting that to be a major point of emphasis this offseason

I think this could be a good thing hes taking the NBA invite to get a evaluation to raise his draft stock. I'd imagine there going to emphasize for him to get better at passing when his drives and of course improving his 3 point shooting hopefully he takes it to heart and puts in the work to improve on both those things

How about he plays a college game first.

Keaton was 1 of 1.

Quentin is our highest ranked (Top 30 composite) in quite some time. We have to trust that he will make a jump by the conference season. Trey McKenney is a great example. Dude hit 4 3s in the NCAA final. But was other wise overshadowed by older players like Cason and Gayle off the bench.

You can see some very obvious things he’ll need to fix for B1G size and speed:
- Shooting pocket is low
- Prefers his right hand to finish
- He’s 6’4 but lacks the build to absorb contact for now

But there is a long time yet till November and even longer time yet to next year’s draft.

The good news is that he is not the Keaton replacement, Vaaks is.

He (hopefully) will be feasting on open 3s and recovering Ds that Boswell sometimes struggled to.
