As long as we’re hijacking this topic asking “who?” regarding opera singers, I have a question regarding an alumnus who performed at a football game about 20 years ago.
The alumnus was about 80 and forgot the words to an important song like the national anthem or loyalty. He re-started and forgot the words again. On his third attempt the band started singing with him and saved the day.
That was an extremely touching moment and I don’t remember which game it was or who the opera singer was. Was anyone from this forum there?

I was there but - do I remember....- the guy that played Li'l Abner - Peter Palmer???
For some reason I remember Li'l Abner being associated with that day but could be getting my games mixed up. It happens often.
