Looks like they may be playing on a baseball field in that one. I'm sure John Facenda (of NFL Films) could tell us.
My gut tells me that's the original Mile High Stadium in Denver (home to the AAA Denver Bears,a consistent strong attendance draw over the years). The Broncos are in reddish orange. Lou coached them a couple times, IIRC.

My initial reflex was it was the Boston Patriots in red (he coached them orginally) but I really do think that's Mile High.

[EDIT: And there it is:

Coincidentally, he coached a single season at Maryland. I had no idea.]

[EDIT #2: @SuperintendentChalmers beat me to it.]

Finally had a good run D vs a P4 team. For Nebraska we have to keep AC in the pocket, and fix the bad we had vs Maryland. Field position! Their avg was the 39, and I think we had 4 three and outs. Let's make some noise on Friday!

As other posters have said, "Keep Colandra in the pocket like they did to Washington (Md) qb. I thought he would run run run on us but we kept him in the pocket most of his passes. Nb qb will run out of the pocket. They have a good def, but eventually Washington got to them. Would love to see another long run from the line of scrimmage on Friday. Will be in my seat on Friday. In all Blue and lets Blew Nb back to their corn fields. They will have a good following and you will hear "go big red".
i wonder if some of Washington's unwillingness to scramble was more "business decision" than great Illinois defensive scheme. certainly not discounting what we did on defense, only pointing out that Washington may be more concerned about next year's NIL than this year's W-L record. doubt that'll be the case with Colandrea.

Supposed to 50°F at kickoff for Friday. Perfect for anyone wanting to break out their navy jackets for the first-ever Hail to the Blue Out!
