We now have 10 owners! However, if we get more interest we'll expand the league to accommodate. #StillTellYoFriends

10 teams is good. 12 teams is the sweet spot IMO for one of these leagues. Two more IL regulars out there, come on, get in on this. Especially if you love kickers!

Love me some kickers! It's the only position I would have ever had a chance to play. :D

Working on a little prize for our champion to make things more interesting :thumb:

Can we change the defensive yards allowed? I am a fan of it. We can eliminate it completely by making each of the defensive yards allowed worth 0 points.

How does everyone feel about the 2 weeks per round for the playoffs? I am not a fan. Can we do 1 week per round? How about 6 teams making the playoffs? Top 2 seeds get a bye. This would take place in weeks 14,15, 16. I am not a fan of doing playoffs, in any format, where the finals are week 17.

Confused here, do you want to eliminate defensive yards allowed or keep it?

I like this a lot. Especially if we end up getting 12 or 14 teams, which seems probably.

I want to eliminate defensive yards. If you can do that, that is what I am saying. I don't know what freedom the site allows you as commissioner to do. If the site won't let you eliminate it, my practical situation on a way to eliminate it is make all defensive yards allowed as 0 points. That way from a practical stand point, you have eliminated it.

I don't like defensive yards (points are better). A team can give up junk yards at end of game / 500 yards but still not allow many points.

This is exactly how we do it in a yahoo league I'm in with some guys on another board. Serious 14-team league with experienced owners. 6 teams make championship bracket with top 2 seeds getting bye and weeks 14-16 are the playoffs.

That's one of my biggest qualms with ESPN is that they not only insist on having two week matchups in the playoffs but have their playoffs go all the way to Week 17.

I believe I have it set up the way we want:

- 6 playoff teams (two teams get byes)
- One week playoff rounds
- Playoffs weeks 14-16

League Incentive Update:
- Dan has agreed to give a twitter mention to our league champion! (If you're into that sort of thing)
- I will also be sending an incredible (un)impressive trophy to our winner! Hoping to post a picture of it, in all its glory, soon.

Also, we have an 11th player (fourtfour), but currently no 12th. It would be great to get the league up to 12 teams, so #TellYoFriends

Could I request one other tweak? I'm not a fan of waiver priority resetting each week to inverse order of standings. That can be a huge unearned windfall for owners who struggle early. In weeks 1-4 there are typically several no-brainier, season changing free agents and the same 1-2 teams shouldn't repeatedly get first crack at them. Also, the decision to sit on one's waiver priority in order to move up for the next week can be an important strategic one. Therefore, I would rather that waiver priority does not reset and to get to the top you have to earn it by rationing your waiver requests.

Otherwise, it looks like a good setup, TownieMatt. Let's just get that 12th team before August 29th!

I will not be able to draft on Sunday. I will still be on the road driving back from camping with the family and elk hunting. I have set up my team to hopefully draft well but my first draft pick will take the whole allotted time sorry. If I get cell phone service I might have my wife try and draft some for me, that's also if I can get it to work on mobile.

I know ESPN has a fantasy app that you can draft from. Not ideal obviously, but it would work if you have signal.*

*As commissioner of the league, I do not encourage drafting while driving.

The league is officially up to 12 teams!

We're going to cap it there with the draft coming up on Sunday (7 PM CENTRAL).

Sorry Auto, I missed this post originally. I see you're point here, we'll change waiver order to rotating.

If anyone else has setting requests, get them in today or tomorrow. Once we draft, settings will be locked in.

Looking forward to the draft! :illinois:

More points for blocked punts/fgs. And reward sacks maybe. Othere than those I don't have any ideas. By the way you don't have to do those they were just for discussion.

I have an afternoon flight. Should be home and in front of a computer at draft time Sunday but it's not a certainty. If I end up going auto draft then I apologize. Also my team will be garbage but I'll try to bounce back.
