After waking up the morning after, letting the emotion of the moment fade away, I'm even more embarrassed. We got completely dominated in every single facet of the game by Indiana football.

The Oline was pathetic, and I'm being nice by saying that. The Dline was weak. The secondary was arguably worse than the Oline. I just loved the commentators highlighting Jacas to show how terrible he was. I'm sure he appreciated being singled out on a national game, but woof. Altmeyer just held the ball. The offense didn't adjust to go for short passes.

It simply looked like we did not belong on the field.

I know these are young kids, and until today the staff has helped us become respectable, but with tens of millions of $ going into this team, this kind of performance isn’t something that can be accepted.

This is a whole new level of college football, and crazy amounts of $ are involved - and I’m sure that means all new levels of accountability.

Beat USC.

We didn’t get kicked in the nuts as fans.

We had our nuts hacked off with a dull razor blade, then we were forced to eat them while we watched Lumbergh screw our ______(wife, gf….).

If Napier is fired, Cignetti's gone. He's a mercenary. IU is a stepping stone for him. Florida will pay him whatever he wants.

Bret let this team grow complacent especially the O line- no hunger or drive after they heard how great they were all summer

I heard we were given slow pills before the game and IU players were given fast pills

Well said. The young kids excuse won’t fly. You want all this money, time to be held accountable.

Just ahead lies a huge test of what’s been built. It’s neither as great or terrible as we’re inclined to think. How will the entire team and staff respond? We’ll see Saturday. I remain hopeful rather than hopeless or irrationally optimistic. Bret’s interview was blunt and rational.

missed assignments happen. that said, Arkin's failure to pick up the outside guy was brutal. especially from a 2X captain. can't happen

the whole game was brutal. Bret's going to have to make some hard decisions. the ceiling for this team is 8-4. I'd love to be wrong

Man, I’m still reeling. Indiana has about the same talent level according to rankings, but just absolutely manhandled us. This game absolutely detonated our momentum. I’ve been scared about next year due to amount of seniors on roster, but I’m worried about this year now.

Maybe bringing in players from other teams with bad DL's and counting on the experience/"leadership" of players at key positions who have unfortunately shown over the years to be too small/slow/unathletic was not the best decision.
Before BB was hired, if you told me we would have won 10 games last year I would said you are crazy.

If you also told me that Indiana would outgain us by over 300 yards on the ground in a single game, I would have looked at you like you were chugging maple syrup in a grocery store aisle while simultaneously urinating on the floor.

Our OLine play is so bad that the Indiana coach called it out on national TV. Not at all what I would have expected from a BB team. Play in the trenches has to improve. Then we can talk about all the other problems.

I am always fascinated by the number of fans that scream about how this is "unacceptable" or there must be greater "accountability." Do they think that BB, Whitman or others find it acceptable?

On a different note, what does this do to attendance next week? I fear tickets to the USC and OSU games will be flooding the secondary market.

Apparently Bret does think it's acceptable, Miller still has a job after multiple seasons of lackluster line play and line recruiting...
