I agree. We need a serious upgrade in our defensive coordinator and offensive line assistant coaches. The rest of the assistant coaches seem ok.
Admittedly, I was being facetious with this post in an ill-fated attempt at “Lou Holtzing” our Hoosiers visitors into over confidence… but it’s shocking how right I was with everything but the final score — and even on that I wasn’t far off. Just UNDER estimated it.

I think that question always surfaces when fans see continual issues in the same areas. The only name I've seen bandied about is Miller, and frankly a switch at OL coach is overdue. We've struggled there both schematically and in recruiting.
When the offense continuously goes 3 & out,there’s a tendency to wear your defense down because of the quick turnaround without a sustained offensive drive.
The offensive line was supposed to be the bread and butter of this team and combined with the QB, it was the thrust of a top 15 preseason ranking. Yeah, they deserve to be called out. Can't bask in the glory of success unless you're willing to fry in the oil of defeat.
Yes, is was Indiana that only had 10 on the punt block.
Kreutz and Henderson both had visibly horrendous performances, not just scheme wise, but they were losing 1 on 1 battles at the line of scrimmage from the snap. Kreutz was overpowered, Henderson was just whiffing. I can't imagine he did much better but I didn't offhand notice Hansen, so maybe that's a positive? Scheme was not good, but if we're not getting blocks from the RBs or TEs and our OL needs additional assist blockers as well against 4 man fronts, that leaves very few options. Play goal line the whole game? Not even sure that would've avoided pressure last night the way we were playing
We had that in both Buh and Kane. Never replaced it when they left.
