Fears - it seems like since Dec 15th they've named "co-players of the week" every week, maybe it's so more teams are given the exposure, or they changed how they determine the player of the week. Who in their right mind would vote for anyone but Keaton this week - he was national player of the week for goodness sake

Sorry. Forgot to add the /s. Was saying that on the national level the AP chose not to give a Co and let Keaton enjoy the honor by himself, however the B1G voters decided a Co was in order despite a historical performance.
Mendoza was a great co-B1G player of the year in football

Still beyond wild that we're all still going along with Dick Vitale calling adult athletes "diaper dandies" -- and that there's now an accolade associated with it.
Also, why are there so many Player of the Week organizations? Seems like that many would dilute the importance of the award a bit. Which one is a person supposed to consider the prime award? I mean, I know that it is probably the AP one, but March Madness Player of the Week? What does March Madness have to do with Player of the Week (shakes fist at the clouds)?
