I am curious to see how Kofi plays and is utilized, regardless of which team he chooses. Like is he going to focus on the things the NBA told him, like shooting? Or is he going to be content becoming the most dominant inside force in college hoops? No team is going to play him at the 4, but how flexible are teams/coaches going to be if he's adamant about showing new parts of his game, especially if it takes away from his current game?

Nope, you’re not getting me to believe. Won’t believe it until he announces. Too many things pointing towards he’s leaving. Really hope I’m wrong though.
I think it is a situation where both schools don't totally know right now. I can say that Kofi and the staff has had some very good dialogue the past few days so things are trending up there

Can you elaborate on what went so wrong that caused the staff and kofi needing to meet and have dialogue to "clear the air?"

Keep hearing mixed things on Kofi. Obviously between us and Kentucky at this point. Right now based off of what I have heard I would say there is a 60% chance he comes back
It's called Sex Panther, by Odeon.

It’s an entire new staff
I get that, and I'm probably under estimating the effect of staff turnover, but the HC is the same and it was under him that Kofi became an All-American. There's also no doubt that Kofi will be the unquestionable Alpha on the team.

It's one thing if it it's about NIL money but it just seems odd that there needs to be so much dialogue between the 2 sides to convince him to come back.

Or maybe the discussion are basically about NIL money. Just curious and thinking out loud.

Wouldn't this apply to any university, not just UI?
Believe the issue is a UI specific policy. That said. Much easier to get away there. And the state of Illinois has been very friendly to previous criminals when laws change, so I’d be confident Kofi can play wherever he wants.

So what happened with OA saying not to go to UK?
Haha! That's hilarious. I'm 100% sure that never happened. They left for a reason. You honestly think in this environment of current state college basketball they wouldn't take him in a second? Its Kentucky and Cal. They are corrupt.

So what happened with OA saying not to go to UK?
That seemed far fetched to me but I appreciate the insiders and wasn't going to say anything about it. The biggest thing for me was how could someone even know what was said in a private conversation between Kofi and OA? We should just accept he's gone and if he does come back then fantastic.

What makes you think we slightly lead? Is he meeting with Brad et al. again before pulling the trigger?
