I’m pretty sure the user is referencing the Crandall Head recruitment where there was…hopeful thinking that Luther would pay his way so that we could recruit another player. What’s the joke I’m missing?
From a quick Google search, it looks like Texas' AD makes about $4.3 million, and Notre Dame's makes in the neighborhood of $3 million (newer stats weren't available) ... compared to $1.5 million for Josh here. We'll have the hometown/home school advantage, but I hope these same donors realize what a gem we have in Josh and step up to match any offer!big time AD securing big time commitments. this has to be the coaching equivalent of signing the #1 ranked recruiting class. it’s only a matter of time before Texas or ND comes after Whitman

Luther Head is breathing a sigh of relief somewhere.

And yeah, I'm 100% good with the name Gies Memorial Stadium.
