Likely the verbiage "step in the process of resolving an infractions case" simply means the NCAA is tired of pretending that they are going to do something about this, so it's under-the-rug-sweeping time.

I am not close to the situation but from a 3000 foot view I just can’t see a world where he ends up back at LSU. I hope he can find somewhere in a power 5 to show his skill sets in a good program.
Yawn. Seen this before. Smoke with no action. NCAA with no backbone will prevail again as they only want to play hardball with Kofi for selling gear (for charity eventually). All about that low hanging fruit to act like you still try, right?

Kansas needs to find a replacement for Jalen Coleman-Lands.
I think I read something that KU by this fall. Maybe they can only handle one at a time.
That would suck if the only thing he gets out of the transfer to LSU is a torn ACL.
Could he be the top secret transfer that we keep hearing about?

Well, that's a surprise. After all that Underwood had put into Miller, I figured that door is closed. And, as long as Papi's here, Miller's not going to be the primary ball handler.

Maybe we’d take him back without chin because we’d have more control of the whole situation without promises to keep.
Also, maybe the problem was truly his family and he was really bought in to the Illini.
