Thats a shame. I really thought Malcolm was a 1st team guy, being that he was our best guy and got the toughest assignment from every team we played.

If our record was better he would no doubt have been a 1st teamer. Too bad but 2nd Team All B1G is still not a bad achievement. Congrats to Malcolm.

Agreed a 2 time second B1G teamer and an honorable mention B1G is a pretty good career.

Malcolm in conf play: 16.3 pts, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals, 2.0 TO
Jok: 18.2 pts, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.1 steals, 3.1 TO

They are pretty close.

The one i dont get is mason....he scored a bunch but i took just over 15 shots a game, and shot like 36% from the field in conf play.

Congrats to Malcolm on a great career in the orange and blue. No matter his lack of participation in the postseason, he is still one of the all-time greats.

Conference ORtg:

Hill 114.1
Jok 109.4

Jok took 16.9 FGA per 40 min, Hill took 14.4

Jok was a higher volume, higher usage guy, Hill was more efficient. It is close and both are deserving. I'm biased towards Hill of course.

It is about winning. You have to be head and shoulders above everybody to get first team with a losing conference record.

Congratulations Malcolm. Thanks for everything you have done so far and hope your career continues for several more games in the Orange & Blue.

If you want to read some funny stuff on other teams' perspectives, get on reddit. Michigan and Minnesota fans are arguing mason vs Walton.

Not surprised at all on Mason. Most agree that point guard play is the most important factor at the college level (see the last several years of Illinois basketball) and Mason was the PG on the most improved team in the country record wise. Not the B1G, the country. Yes they have some nice pieces around him but he's been lights out especially in the conference.
