Was just going to say the same thing. We brought in Bowick to compete at that position. Bowick won.He got outplayed by other receivers. Best of luck.
Hopefully he reaches his potential elsewhere. Disappointing as he seemed to have something special but only showed it in a few brief moments. Was just going to say the same thing. We brought in Bowick to compete at that position. Bowick won.
Best of luck to Malik.
how much does this say about our wr room over the past few years? this is not a scenario I would have envisioned even coming into this season...Was just going to say the same thing. We brought in Bowick to compete at that position. Bowick won.
Best of luck to Malik.
I didn't expect him to come back. But there's was a lot of opportunity. Good decision for the kid.It is disappointing given the recruiting profile and expectations, but at this point it is not surprising. At the end of the day, I understand the decision as far as sitting out/redshirting to preserve eligibility and recognizing that this wasn't the right location for him. I'm sure it is extremely hard being a player with all the "hype" coming in when it is not materializing at the NCAA level. I wish him the best of luck wherever he ends up.
It's a numbers game. Wish him nothing but the best.Obviously a bummer when a big recruit doesn't work out, but he was 5th on the depth chart without much evidence he was any better than a couple guys behind him either. Don't know if he was given the option to stay with the team while redshirting, but either way it makes sense and good luck to him.
