I was expecting to lose, and I wanted the 6 seed, but I didn't want to look so inept getting there.... Good thing Maryland put their scrubs in to keep them under 100.

You'd rather face a 2-seed in the 2nd round than a 4/5? For that matter you'd rather face a 10-seed in the 1st round than a 12 or 13?

It's a moot point now, but this game is exactly why the 6/7 > 4/5 never made sense. Gotta win the first game before the 2nd, the 2nd before the 3rd, and on and on.

Big game Brad strikes again. This roster lacks any physicality and guys who can defend. The excuses for Brad are done with, sick of the hyperbole and bs. Losing by double digits regularly and getting destroyed on multiple occasions isn’t acceptable.

Have we had better years under Brad? Absolutely. But did you watch us vs. Loyola back when we were a 1 seed a few years ago? Did you watch us vs. UConn last year? It just isn't accurate to state that Brad Underwood teams don't ever show up unprepared to play and/or softly conceding the game meekly out there. Backbones aren't willed magically into a team. They are built with proper planning and preparation. We desperately need better assistants and a much better plan for recruitment and roster construction.

Will the AP poll update again next week, so we can go into the NCAA tournament unranked (which seems to be when we perform best)?

Get this - the only BIG10 teams that Maryland has beaten by 20 plus other than Illinois twice, are Iowa and Ohio State, and Ohio State beat them in the rematch.. they lost to Northwestern. Minnesota only lost to them by 6 at MD. Nebraska lost by 3 at MD. MD beat Indiana by 1 at IN. Rutgers lost by 9 at MD.

If that doesn’t tell you that the failure is on our coaching staff, I don’t know what to tell you.
