Very Wagnerian.

After watching the video Vesel reminds me of James Aug. The way he runs the court and screen and rolls. I will take that any day.

After watching the video, all I can think of is how well his team passes the ball.

So with our two recent 2017 bigman additions I finally stopped feeling stung by the Tilmon debacle and decided to wander over to Tigerboard while I wait for rain this afternoon. I was stunned and am quite amused to report that they've gone batshit crazy and they are now booking their tickets to the final four in San Antonio...

On paper it's an incredible haul, and having the #1 recruit is no small thing. While I'm not very confident in their coach, they should win some games.

They did have quite a haul and will be considerably improved. They were, however, awful last year. They only won 8 games. To improve from where they were to a Final Four favorite would take a Kentucky like recruiting haul. While their class is good it is not that good. They should think about making the tournament and possibly advancing to the second weekend. Final Four is a bit unrealistic. IMO.

How good is Matic?

Hard to say from being on the starting 5 of his age group from Slovenia.

However, if you look at his performance in the under 16 Euroleague in 2016, against all European competition in his age group, he was the 5th leading rebounder (measured on minutes per game) in the entire Euroleague competition. This bodes well for the Illini!!
