And even if you were operating under some weird theory that the clock stops the moment the ball crosses the plane to exit the field of inbounds play—which is not a thing—the clock was still at 00.

This might be bigger than the typical screw job deal. That wasn’t a fantom PI or whatever. It’s a serious black mark for the sport. There needs to be an investigation and very public firing

Technically, they said the clock should stop on WMU players touch since he was out of bounds.

So that makes it closer, but it still wasn’t close

The Standard: "Clear and Obvious Video Evidence"

Under NCAA Rule 12-6-1-c, the overarching standard requires clear and obvious video evidence (historically and practically referred to as indisputable video evidence) to reverse a ruling.

Presumption of Correctness: The review process starts with the assumption that the call on the field was right.

Beyond All Doubt: The video provided to the replay official must convince them beyond a reasonable doubt that the call was incorrect.

Inconclusive Evidence = Call Stands: If the camera angles are obstructed, blurred, or missing a definitive frame—even if the replay official has a strong hunch the call was wrong—the on-field ruling must stand.

When the football crosses the back of the end zone and is ruled incomplete was there one second left? or is it even though the ball crosses the end line does it have to be touches to end the play. Whe a qb throws the ball out of bounce to stop the clock when is the exact moment the clock?
