The caption of the video is rather amusing under the circumstances, but this does finally have everything in the same video, albeit grainy and at a bad angle to really see what happened.
Evidence in favor of the call being "correct" rather than the reverse, I would admit, but by no means "indisputable video evidence" and if you haven't seen the light of the wisdom of the NFL rule by now, I give up.
That’s just not how college football works. According to the NCAA rulebook, there are no tenths of a second, and when the clock strikes 00:00, the game is over.That’s not right though. If the clock is set to 9 seconds, it should display 0:09 for one full second after it is started before dropping to 0:08.

The play lasted 8.5 seconds from snap to WMU player touching the ball. By that math, at exactly 8.5 seconds elapsed, the clock should have still been displaying “0:01”. Which would mean one second remaining
This was my argument from before that the “evidence” suggests that a tech in the NBC control booth took one feed of a camera pointed at the scoreboard and split screened that with the main feed but for whatever technical reason the main feed was going to screen about a half or three quarters of a second behind the clock feed. The math would support that conclusion.
