What a cop out. What a message to send Michigan. That is the minimum they could give. I hope the B1G or NCAA comes down a bit harder...but doubtful.

I suppose it would seem okay, if not for a comparison with Kofi's. Kofi sold a jersey, and Juwan punched another coach. I'd think at least the gesture of including the Big Ten Tournament and NIT would be appropriate...

Agree. You would think this is with the B10’s blessing based on the AD’s earlier comment about working with them. Kevin Warren should be the one making the announcement here.

Going to be a tough sell to convince recruits that he wouldn't be gone after another incident and that another incident won't happen. Opposing coaches are going to have major ammo going into visits. I thought they would keep him but suspend him the remainder of the (complete) season. Weak.

Why does the coach get 5 games for throwing a punch or whatever that girly thing was, but the players get one game for throwing actual punches?
