I noticed enterprise center you need to be fully vaccinated. Does this mean just both shots? You don’t need the booster as well do you? Any idea?
No booster required.

Been to a concert and Blues game recently at enterprise. They say mask and vaccination is mandatory, and you’ll see once you get in that 90% are not wearing their mask once they get through the gate.

As an avid Illini fan in STL it would suck to not win this one. Very little support for MIZNOZ basketball currently here.
Martin has a 6 million buyout through May 2022, I believe. Then it drops to 3 million. The dumpster fire he took over and the fact he’s been to two tourneys triggered the 6 million. Wherever that goes remains to be seen.

All I know is we need the Braggin Rights trophy….now, and it’s not going to be returned any time soon.
I L L ! ! !

Get the booster anyway.
He/she might have full plans to get the booster but possibly cannot make it in to do so before heading to St. Louis in just a few days, just sayin'. :)

Anyway, I am super excited for my first ever Braggin' Rights Game! I honestly wish Mizzou were a tad better and the game weren't during their bowl game, as I am somewhat worried the atmosphere will be negatively affected during my first exposure to this great rivalry. However, I am ecstatic, nonetheless. We are staying at the Missouri Athletic Club and are looking to grab food/drinks on the way to the arena (i.e., somewhere in between) if anyone has suggestions!

Also, RE: tickets, I encourage any Illini fans who can come to embarrass Mizzou and turn this into a sea of orange. :) From looking through this thread and at the seating chart, it looks like Illinois and Mizzou each get 3 student-filled sections, 13 lower bowl sections and 17 upper bowl sections. Looking at the venue website ... it looks like it will be a decidedly pro-Illini crowd!

SECTIONS SOLD OUT:
Student Sections
Illini
- 3/3 (100%)
Mizzou - 3/3 (100%)

Lower Bowl
Illini
- 13/13 (100%)
Mizzou - 6/13 (46%)

Upper Bowl
Illini
- 10/17 (59%)
Mizzou - 2/17 (12%)

Total Sections
Illini
- 26/33 (79%)
Mizzou - 11/33 (33%)

I know some tickets will be nabbed up the week of the game, but I would expect at least 65% of the crowd to be in orange, and that is (probably unfairly!) assuming that some of these sold out Mizzou sections won't have a good chunk of orange in them. I-L-L!

For those who are regulars, is the crowd (in a "normal" year) pretty close to even? It always looks 50/50 on TV, given we only see the lower bowl, but are the upper decks even, as well? The football game vs. Mizzou at Edward Jones Dome always looked 50/50, too, but I remember a fan on here once saying that it was usually like 65/35 Mizzou fans. Would be nice to gobble up a bunch of their tickets this year!

Would normally have a bit better turnout for MIZNOZ when both teams are at least competitive.
The vibe in STL area currently is that Missou bball sucks and they are not drawing at all in Como. Frustration and indifference.
That said, my guess is that since this is such a big event annually, there will be a lot of black and gold because it’s an annual must go to game.
But this year, no doubt a heavy lean to the orange and blue.
Check out ball park village….pretty cool what they’ve done there. Lots of restaurants and bars.
Soulard is also a good time. 5 minute Uber ride away.

Ooo, never heard of Soulard before, but it looks cool! Thanks for the tips.

Yeah the issue with St. Louis is there are lots of great areas for food and drinks and other things to do, but they're all scattered around the area and you often have to just learn by word of mouth. You can't just go downtown and expect lots of things to do.

If both teams are good Mizzou will do their part. At most a 60-40 Illinois crowd. Prime years 50-50. When Mizzou is bad they don’t show up, like this year.

It is unfortunate. The last year we won this game it was 50/50 and full. Incredible time for us pulling the upset with Trent having a huge first half.

I remember back in the 80s the game would sell out in an hour

Thanks for that memory…so unfortunately the Illini are 1-3 against Miznoz in the last 4 years (the Trent Frazier era). I thought I’d be cute/a jerk and look up the Dee Brown era…yep, 4-0.

Just sayin’ 😜

If you’re gonna be in the Soulard area…I highly recommend The Venice Cafe.
It’s this funky, arty-farty bar/coffeeshop type place...acoustic open mic and local bands I think too.
Seems like it used to sometimes close for the winter so you might wanna double check.
I tried to add a link to the website but it didn’t wanna cooperate.
