Who on this team will be drafted ? KJ is not playing like a lottery pick. He may get drafted. Will Riley is beginning to show potential. Still too skinny. Needs a lot of bulking up. Tomi is good and can hit the 3.
"He may get drafted" made me cackle out loud

We are going to have first round picks this year. Which makes this roller coaster of a season all the more disappointing.

Wasn't sure where to put this. Some mock drafts within the last week. Interestingly, one had the Nets selecting both KJ and Will in the first round. All speculation of course as no one knows the draft order.

SI

4. Charlotte Hornets: Kasparas Jakucionis (Illinois)

19. Brooklyn Nets (via MIL): Will Riley (Illinois)

53. Los Angeles Lakers: Tomislav Ivisic (Illinois

RIP City mock (No 2nd round)

5 New Orleans Pelicans Kasparas Jakucionis G Illinois

8. Chicago Bulls: SG/ SF Kasparas Jakucionis, Illinois

Fansided (No 2nd round)

5 Washington Wizards: Kasparas Jakucionis G Illinois

In Jonathan Wasserman's latest NBA mock draft for Bleacher Repor

6. Brooklyn Nets
: Kasparas Jakucionis (Illinois, PG/SG)

26. Brooklyn Nets (via Knicks): Will Riley (Illinois, SF)

Yep. Zero chance Kasparas is a lottery pick.

I don’t think … I know …

Unless he sustains some crazy injury … He’s going to the NBA …

As far as the rest of the roster … 2.5 returners is what I expect … I’m confident on 2 …

Morez is no guarantee to be back … It hasn’t been smooth sailing since he got here and if TA gets a job somewhere especially at the places I know there’s mutual interest … It’s a lot less likely Morez stays I think …

I am hoping for a point where we will be able to retain decent numbers of our promising players, regardless of this being a portal era otherwise I don’t really think it’s sustainable.

What’s the deal on Morez, he seems to be a great kid and everything Brad preaches he wants in a player?

Who are the two that would return in your opinion? Kylan and Jake Davis?

With the losses we've had, with the lack of staff continuity, with the continued instability and lack of roster cohesion, with the lack of "family and closeness"-if we lose arguably one of the most talented possible 4 year players we've had in ages, because of Brad, I'm afraid I have to say I'll be ready to move on...

I just don't love the direction of the program at this point.. And no this doesn't discredit what Brad's done or how he's helped turn our program around and put it in a better spot.. It's whether or not I think Brad is the most capable of maximizing where our program is currently at- and I'm starting to think he isn't the answer anymore.

It took half the year for Brad to play him when he's probably been better than Ben for the majority of the year in practice.
And his lead recruiter is taking his ball and going home. Chester / Sencire / Amani part deux. (MJ is better and we'd fight more to keep him but I still miss the other guys too.)

How is it that Brad has a kid from the state with uber talent that has been committed to us since his sophomore year in high school gets here and right away it hasn't been smooth sailing? I know Tim leaving sucks but man if Morez is gone the fanbase will let Brad hear it all season. Will be a huge mark on Brad's tenure. The optics won't look good.

My non-insider guess is that the 2 most certain returnees are Tomi and Jake. I'm not sure who the half would be. Probably Morez based on other comments, but also it seems at least possible that we get 1 of Kylan or DGL to stay? I don't know, maybe they will both want to leave for different reasons.
