The shot selections between Brunson and Tatum is hilarious. Brunson's taking smart shots while Tatum is back to jacking up threes which is one reason why Knicks have crawled back to take the lead in tonight's game. Celtics are on their dumb stuff again. lol.
For a team that *won the title last year* the Celtics have repeatedly turtled down the stretch in a way that late Weber Era Illinois fans would recognize

NBA really ain't getting that script narrative off their back with Dallas winning the lottery. Lol. Trade away Luka but then all of a sudden they get the number 1 pick with an odd of 1.8% of winning the lottery. Oh and then the Spurs get the 2nd pick coming off the heel of the news that Giannis and the Bucks are open to part ways and the Spurs are listed as one of the few teams that have the assets to possibly make a trade for Giannis? Yeah all of this is funny. Spurs could draft Dylan Harper and use him of a trade piece in an attempt to get Giannis.

This year NBA playoffs have been filled with great choke jobs and we had another one tonight with Denver absolutely choked game 5 away. They couldn't buy a bucket to save their lives going iced cold in the 4 quarter blowing their lead in the game to OKC. I have OKC winning this series because they are the deeper team and I don't think Denver can substain playing only what is essentially 6 guys heavy minutes. Denver got no bench. Depth matters in the NBA. Shocker.

I am honestly surprised that an International or huge domestic entity hasn't stepped in to buy one of these franchises to market their company. I personally think it would hasten the demise of this, or any other league, but that's just me. I know many can point to various football (soccer) teams across the world that have done this to some extent and are doing well. But long term, it's basically stringing your own noose. I get it that they are solely looking at, "how can I extrapolate the most profit in the shortest amount of time with complete disregard to future prospects.

Seattle? I’m open
I don’t know why Joan Allen rebuffed Phil Knight twice. Hopefully he makes an offer she can’t refuse (but not in a Godfather way). I hope Seattle gets a team some day - just not ours.

Probably was just waiting for the right time. The NBA announced a new lucrative media rights deal last year, and the Celtics just sold for approximately a bajillion dollars, so now is the right time. Article I read also said that not getting a top pick in the lottery may have contributed to the decision to do it now (if they gotten a top-4 pick with their 18% odds, the trust may have waited to see if he became a bankable superstar at which point the team value would be even higher).

NBA playoffs continue to live up with the choking. Pacers blowing a 20 points lead and might not win game 3 here.

The Pacers prove you don’t need a superstar to get to the NBA finals. They simply have a large quantity of good athletic players in their primes:

Haliburton (age 25)
Siakim (age 31)
Turner (age 29)
Nesmith (age 25)
Mathurin (age 22)
Nembhard (age 25)
Toppin (age 27)
Bryant (age 27)
Sheppard (age 23)
McConnell (age 33)

Only 1 old player. In a league of aging “superstars”, the team with young in their prime good players is at least the 2nd best team.

Pacers steal Game 1.

Turnovers
Pacers - 24
Thunder - 6

Yet Pacers still win. I think the Thunder are in trouble bc this game should have been a blowout.

Thunder were up 108-99 with 2:40 left.
2:38 Nesmith 3 (108-102)
1:59 Nemhard 3 (108-105)

I think it’s better to start fouling instead of allowing 3 pt attempts. Those 2 threes got them right back in the game.

Credit the Pacers feels like their year. They got a bunch young athletic shooters who all play defense. Thunder I like SGA/JW, but Chet just plays too soft for that team

With all of your vast knowledge of the abilities of players how could you not see why she is the main focus of the wnba because of her abilities.
