happy Hot Takes Day!
Gotta talk about something lol. 😂

If TSJ barely saw the floor last year, and imho, TSJ is far ahead of KJ as a player ( today ) one has to wonder how much KJ will see the floor with the Heat. I think Will is more NBA ready right now, although KJ’s body is NBA ready, I don’t think his on court mindset is. Hope I am wrong and KJ is starting.

But the turnover over trend over his last 3 months of basketball action is more than alarming.

So how many years are you giving Flagg after 5 for 21 with 2 being dunks?
How many turnovers did he have?

How many turnovers / points/ rebounds did he average at duke his last 3 months of basketball?

Those are the metrics. Who was progressing at the end of the season and who was digressing.

I am very high on Will’s success because his game was growing as the season went, KJ’s turnovers made him become a liability on the court the 2nd half of the season.

I could see how that would be annoying for his teammates, but I'm not sure how much an NBA front office is going to consider that.

Flagg 5-21 tonight, probably needed another year....
Probably a little heavy on the sarcasm, but I get it.

I do think KJ needed more college experience, but in today’s game that just is not going to happen. If your a first rounder (certainly projected loto going into the draft), you simply have to go get that experience in the G-League.

So if I am a college coach I am looking for guys just not quite good enough to get drafted in the first round. Maybe sprinkle in a 1 and done as you can?
