5 of 14 from 3 is way too many attempts and isn't a great percentage either. gotta get that shot more consistent, but also needs to cut down on those and put his head down. When he did, just an incredible highlight dunk. Now granted some of them were no one within 5 feet (and you might wanna save a little in the tank; you can see it he plays harder than anyone).

He's just so good it's an easy 20-25 a night no matter what essentially. Still think he's yet to put it all together for a whole game - if he does, he's capable of chasing 40 (if not more).

Something about TSJ dunks...So satisfying lol

If we're being totally honest, if TSJ was 20 years old (19 when he got drafted, 18 when averaging 23/game in college) he would've been right up there with the Cooper Flaggs of the world as one of the best prospects of the generation. Literally the only thing parting him from that level is the age - which is pretty significant, being older than Anthony Edwards.

not sure about "best prospects of the generation", which is pretty exclusive and subjective, and Cooper isn't really the best comp there.... but he would've gone No. 1 in that draft (which was one of the worst talent wise in recent memory). Even with him being 23 or 24, IMO there really wasn't much of a reason for him to be available at 27 (simply looking at the basketball side to this). Steal and then some for the Timberwolves.

He would've had to have had the HS profile too as a top5/top10 prospect. If he was just a random 18 year old that no one knew about who turned into an AA, very unlikely he's the number 1 pick in any draft (or even top 5). When's the last time a guy who wasn't a top 50 recruit one year later was a top 3-5 pick? Really the last one I remember is Ja Morant (international doesn't count). RJ Luis was that guy this year and he went undrafted.

Sure...but up for the number 1 pick is still pretty generational (at least for illinois standards).

That list of names is very short, and therefore the list of those guys as top 5 picks are pretty short too (but when they are that good they get drafed very high). about 99% of guys who are freshman all americans are also big time recruits.

RJ Luis - he's 22 years old.

Yeah I’d be surprised if they don’t given they’ve said he is going to have a significant role this season
He might be out there more for Dillingham and Clark to get reps with him playing the Ant role
