Don't feel this happening this year. I think a lot of those type guys from last year's squad are out the door.

My concern for KJ, when being compared to Brunson’s summer league, is that KJ was having these same struggles the last 1/3 of the season in college. Certainly wasn’t the case for Brunson.
Also Brunson left his junior year of college vs freshmen Kasparas. Brunson sophomore stats closer to Boswell Jr. stats, both were about the same age at that point.
Also KJ faced adversity mid year and never recovered. There’s still plenty of time but hthere need to be positives.
Sending out videos about defensive play is not it when he commits 8 fouls.
Feels too easy to pile on now. Let it marinate and see how he looks in next year summer league.

Fears in his first summer league game shot 25%, had 7 turnover, 6 fouls, and was a -13. Young PGs almost always struggle at first at this level.
KJ should have stayed another year.. he needs to work on the mental part of the game. If he doesn’t, he’ll be out of the league in 3 years

I know this was tested to the limit, but when going into the draft the word is no-doubt top 20 pick (maybe even top 15)... that's never happening.
Very true. Can’t pass up on life changing money I agree. He is only 18-19, so a lot of room to grow, let’s see if the league has patience and allows him to grow.
