Ans Syracuse in while ND and USC out. Not that I really like those teams but sheesh. Ridiculous
There are wins, and then there are quality wins. We saw the committee bias toward the latter.Nebraska with a 13-5 BIG record doesn't get in? Holy crap this is the worst job by a committee ever. They made an effort to display the top freshmen. St Mary's got screwed to. A 9-9 record would get you in the past with some snubs at 10-8. We will need more than 22 wins next year after seeing what happened to the Huskers.
Not sure you should call USC and Louisville "quality wins" if the Committee doesn't put them in the tournament. There are wins, and then there are quality wins. We saw the committee bias toward the latter.
ASU: Four quality wins (UCLA, USC, Kansas, Xavier)
UCLA: Four quality wins (AZ, KY, USC x 2)
Syracuse: Four quality wins (Clemson, Buff, Lou, Mia FL)
St Bonaventure: Three quality wins (RI, Buffalo, Syracuse)
St Mary's: Two quality wins (Gonzaga, NM). They also got punished for their weak non-conference schedule. They did not play any real teams.
Notre Dame: Two quality wins (Wichita St, Syracuse). Another team punished for their really weak non-conference schedule. It made ours look harrowing. They were 13-14 excluding the fluffies (7 games).
Nebraska's: One quality wins (MI @ home) Their second best win was pretty bad. Maryland?
Nebraska wasn't that good this year. #TRUTH
They still finished the conference with a 13-5 record, this is so far a deviation from any precedent in regards to the BIG in the field of 68 teams.
Ohio St was the lowest seed at 5, you are going to tell me Nebraska didn't earn a spot somewhere between #7-11? I'm not a Husker fan at, Illini through and through. But the committee selected 8-10 teams, this is a shame. If you don't finish at/above .500 you don't deserve to be in it. Would rather see a Middle Tennessee State than the 8-10 P5 teams.
Once again, this is the worse process/selection I can remember.
Can some please explain to me how an Alabama team that finished 19-15 with an 8-10 conference record got a 9 seed let alone a tournament bid. Yet Nebraska goes 22-9 and 13-5 in conference and can't even get an invite. Biggest tournament snub in years. If I'm Tim Miles I'm one pissed off Mofo and wondering why Nebraska can't catch a break even when they are a good team. NCAA selection committee needs to start doing their job without bias it's getting rediculous.
Only 4 BIG teams in tournament this year?
Who you scheduled matter more than how many times you lost. Its a crock of crap.
Alabama 19-15. Texas 19-14. Oklahoma 18-13.
OK State lost the play-in game to the FBI, as did USC and maybe Louisville.
If this has any weight, you could probably make the case that Arizona was dropped to a 4 and stuck in a killer bracket for the same reason.
I'm concerned that the bar for BIG teams is going to be set much higher to get into the tourney.
A killer bracket I could easily see them advancing out of. This is less a killer for them and more a killer for UK, UVA, etc.

I tend to agree.
With a full roster, Arizona only lost 3 games all season (@Col, @ WA, UCLA). 3 of their losses were consecutive games in November without Rawle Alkins and a 4th loss was without Allonzo Trier and Sean Miller @ Oregon.
Most cbb fans haven't see much of Ayton b/c he plays in the PAC12. Once the tournament starts, that will change. I have seen him 2 times in person this season, the guy is a generational talent. I dislike UA fans and Sean Miller, but I think it is possible that he can single-handedly carry Arizona to the title.
I'm sure many will disagree, but if you have a below .500 record in your conference, I don't think you should get it the tournament.
