I don’t get cbs/ncaa scheduling. Why would you have the 1 seeds play so early in the day on Sunday. Then on Monday make Gonzaga play at 2:40 but Michigan plays in prime time. Gonzaga should have gotten the later time slot.
Making today's loss more devasting, 12 seed OSU crushing OKst. Would have been a cakewalk to Elite Eight

It's cool from a fan perspective, but I'm sure that they're moving teams out as quickly as possible to preserve the bubble. The fewer people you have, the more likely it is to be secure.I have an idea that came about because I realized that even if Illini had won we still wouldn’t have gotten Ayo vs Cade matchup I was eager to see...
Why not play some pickup style games between players from eliminated teams during the gaps? It could be a predraft showcase. Do you think the players would be up for it? Ayo vs Cade 1:1. 3 point contests. Games of horse, etc.
This more than the other. Also, I'm not sure you want future NBA draft picks risking injury for pick up games. We'll just have to see what the can do at the next level.
I got the economics behind the tournament. I understood why Baylor and Illinois played when they did and they were the only games on. The amount of commercials was annoying. I also agree Michigan should play at 7 east coast but to put Gonzaga early in the afternoon is silly. Gonzaga first round game was 9 east coast which makes sense. Gonzaga is not getting any favors for being the number 1 seed and playing so early. They should have a later gameEasy. More eyeballs to watch it. 1 seeds likely would have played the same time on Saturday under "normal" scheduling conditions. As far as Gonzaga is concerned, more casual fans would be interested in seeing Michigan in primetime than Gonzaga. Not to mention Michigan has a slightly larger alumni base around the country than the Zags.
The suggestion assumes the bubble thing is this year only, and wouldn’t impact the fixture. It's cool from a fan perspective, but I'm sure that they're moving teams out as quickly as possible to preserve the bubble. The fewer people you have, the more likely it is to be secure.

The big ten probably isn’t even the third best conference this year. Jeez. Hey, at least Iowa is getting crushed.Iowa adding further confirmation that the Big 10 was way overrated. When folks referred to this yr as the greatest in Big 10 history, those of us with some yrs behind us had to chuckle. Not even close.

I agree. Not to mention Rutgers taking Houston to the wire.
The Big10, or now probably Big12 was definitely the best conference this year.
The Big10 not backing it up in the tournament doesn’t undermine their strength over the course of the season.
ACC and BigEast are definitely worse and playing to their ranking. The Big12 is playing above its ranking as 2nd best conference, and the PAC12 is showing it probably suffered from a heavy media bias and deserved more respect.
Would Colorado over FSU change your mind? Also, don’t think you can dismiss Oregon State on presumption. Fact is that defeated Tennessee and Oklahoma State easily.I don't buy the bias argument about the Pac12. Like I stated before USC and Colorado had cupcake draws and Oregon State is obviously on a heater but they will fall back to earth.
UCLAs had a favorable draw as well. Oregon is really the only team in there that I think is legit.

If it makes you wonder then you weren't paying attention. We were very good this year but we ran into a very good opponent, a top 10 team by KenPom in the second round. You can lose to anyone in a single elimination tournament when you aren't playing your best or playing another team that is very good. It doesn't mean we weren't very good. If we played Ga. Tech yesterday I think we win that game.Big 10 playing so bad it makes me wonder how good Illinois actually was this season. I had them closer to a top 10/15 team going into the season and was glad to be proved wrong but its looking like it might of been more accurate then i thought.
Illinois was for sure very good against the big 10, against everyone else that's still up for debate. No question at this point the big 10 was seriously overrated. If it makes you wonder then you weren't paying attention. Well that's really all we can go by since that's the majority of the games they played. They were good enough to be the second ranked team in the country and win their conference tournament. That's plenty good, very good.Illinois was for sure very good against the big 10, against everyone else that's still up for debate. No question at this point the big 10 was seriously overrated.
USC had a cupcake draw against a Drake team that split with Loyola when Drake was down 1 starter. Then took Loyola down to the wire in the MVC title game when Drake was down 2 starters, 1 of them being their PG. That is a good call.I don't buy the bias argument about the Pac12.
