The early mock's I saw were almost 100 % that the Lions would pick Spoon at # 6.............Then the trend was the Eagles at # 10 for Spoon..........Then the last week or so a lot of the mock's started to incorporate trade scenarios and Spoon was all over the place with quite a few had the Commanders at # 16.......personally , I think Spoon goes early with him off the board no later than at # 14 to the Pats......

Espn's Jordan Reid has them ranked as the following, Spoon #9, Martin #71, S Brown, #81, C Brown #162.
I think Chase is a steal. I hope the Bears get him in the 4th or 5th round, he'll be a reliable starter.

its kind of amazing how the definition of LB vs Edge had changed over the years
and
how the draft importance of LB vs Edge vs safety has morphed

Seems like a lot of teams are split between Spoon and Gonzalez going first at CB. I would be highly shocked if Spoon went at #3. Not saying Anderson Jr will pan out but most years without QBs at the top he is the clear cut #1 pick.
Will Anderson is the betting favorite to go #2 fwiw

I just used ESPN analytics mock draft tool for the first time, and this is what I ended up with. If this is how things shake out, I would be very, very happy.

Obviously he is more talented but Jalen Carter strikes me as an Eddie Goldman. Crazy talented but does he love it?

I think if Carter is there at 9 when the Bears pick he is going to make another team very, very happy assuming his situation was a one off incident.
This is a defensive heavy draft, especially with Edge rushers. Do the Bears take Carter if available if both Johnson and Skoronski still left on the board? They do have a trade in place with the Steelers but I hope if the Bears do trade with them. But not the 49th pick but the 32nd pick. The Bears are in the cat bird seat in this draft. They have maneuverability to get the exact player they want in this draft.

Welcome to Lying Season guys, the disinformation will be intense

(I am still pretty sure the Illini are having three guys drafted early :) )
Define early? Three picks in the first 3 rounds? DW could go to LV or can drop as low as Washington. Detroit has solidified its secondary in FA and the Raiders are looking at DW or Gonzales at 7. Philly, NE or Washington will take him. Martin and Brown will be value picks anywhere between the third round or 4th round. Chase will go no earlier than the 5th. Teams are concerned over his ball control. 5 fumbles last year has teams nervous. But whoever picks him in the 5th will get a steal. He has 3rd round talent but the fumbles will hurt him. High IQ runner.

I want the Steelers to trade up and grab Spoon at 9 if he is still there. Although they would probably take Paris Johnson if he is still available.
