Sucks it's Tuesday. I'd prefer to go watch Edwardsville vs Simeon @ Redbird. But I want to see Illini vs ISU.

Honored just to be mentioned in the "Illinois State Quadrant"

Mis-spoke in the previous thread. I thought Roger was still with Valpo, forgot he moved on to Vandy.

I was just joking in the other thread when I predicted a matchup with ISU.

Please don't let us lose to ISU.

EDIT: just noticed we're in the same side of the bracket as the team where Kendrick Nunn ended up landing.

Well, this kinda makes me think that even a win against Michigan on Thursday wouldn't have vaulted Illinois to the dance, as they would have had to pass as least 4 teams.

Valpo
Utah
UCF
ISU

We can do this.

Makes sense to change though. High School and NBA both use quarters. Not sure if I like fouls resetting at the end of the quarter though.

Halves instead of quarters is one of the few things I prefer about college basketball's rules as opposed to the NBA. And the foul structure goes along with that.

Always worth it to experiment, but I am not inclined to see this as an improvement.

I love that Syracuse is playing Greensboro. Only way that could be more perfect is if they got sent to Greensboro. Selection committee knew what they were doing there.

Experimental rules suck, though I'll be going to quarters would allow more concessions sales, if there's enough of a gap in time.

And that Assembly Hall had better be rockin' on Tuesday night, Orange to the rafters.

And please, if it comes to pass, vanquish Illinois State. Western Michigan was bad enough. At least I didn't have to hear from anyone I knew. I know far too many people who went to Illinois State. Must. Defeat. ISU.:tsk:
