Everyone was wrong when they blamed Weber then too.I remember the message boards and even some in the national press absolutely destroyed Bruce Weber after he threw players under the bus following a performance like this against Purdue. And I think Bruce’s comments were milder than what I just heard from Brad.
Soft. Glad our AD is not.100%
I think our AD will be in BU’s ear about that post game presser. He needs to tone it down a little on the record.
I wondered why the ball was getting bigger and bigger, ...... and then it hit me.It most certainly is the time for jokes. Need something to lighten the mood around here.
We got Funked.....plan and simple![]()

How hard is it to not dip and start the ball higher on a FT? The less movement the better. Ball position higher, slightly bent knees and then next movement is up not bend a little lower and drop the ball to lift later.Dainja can't play if he can't hit free throws.
Speaking of the scouting report - does the switch everything defense require every player to know the scout on every opposing player? In traditional man to man, you have an assignment and you're expected to know your guy really well. Now they're being asked to be assignment sound on every player and I could see how that could be information overload.Lack of effort. Lack of attention to detail. Lack of knowing the scouting report. Lack of intensity because we were playing lowly Penn st
It's Division 1 basketball. You gotta know the scouting report on everybody.Speaking of the scouting report - does the switch everything defense require every player to know the scout on every opposing player? Depends on what you mean by best. I’d put Tyger over Pickett. Hunter might have the better rep and possibly be the better pro prospect, but statistically it’s not even close. Granted Pickett is asked to do more and different things for his team than Hunter is for Texas, which accounts for the higher points and rebounds. But Pickett’s apg dwarves Hunter’s and Pickett is averaging 0.5 turnovers a game less than Hunter. So Hunter might be a better fit at PG for more teams, but Harris and company were able to keep Hunter pretty much in check. Granted Illini played much better against Texas than PSU. but they could do nothing against Pickett and have to give him some credit for how poorly Illini played. No, the best were Tyger Campbell of UCLA and Tyrese Hunter of Texas.
knowing scouting report is good. It's Division 1 basketball. You gotta know the scouting report on everybody.
I like Goode but if we are depending on him for a long run, we’re in troubleThis team needs Luke Goode on the court ASAP!
I can still hardly believe Sincere Harris' one-punch knockout of Campbell. No, the best were Tyger Campbell of UCLA and Tyrese Hunter of Texas.
Are the guys still at the SFC running this morning or has Coach finally let them go.......
So last year, Trent would have spent as much time studying Hunter Dickenson's tendencies as he would have Eli Brooks? It's Division 1 basketball. You gotta know the scouting report on everybody.
Trent Frazier is Macauley Culkin in Home Alone level ready for Hunter Dickinson to show up at his door in Belgrade right now.So last year, Trent would have spent as much time studying Hunter Dickenson's tendencies as he would have Eli Brooks?
I think last year the scouting would have looked different. We played a defense that fought over every screen, stayed with your man and had Kofi as a man mountain to clog up the lane. This year we're switching everything so yes you better be studying everyone. So last year, Trent would have spent as much time studying Hunter Dickenson's tendencies as he would have Eli Brooks?
This is a really, really good start that addresses two of the seven principles that need to be adhered to in developing good technique. How hard is it to not dip and start the ball higher on a FT? The less movement the better. Ball position higher, slightly bent knees and then next movement is up not bend a little lower and drop the ball to lift later.
