No accounting for some people . . . Let him/her jump.I am disappointed too but please step back from the ledge
There’s very little offense period. We can’t shoot anyway. That lineup gets us stops, steals and offensive boards and more scoring chances even if it’s not as efficient per possession. The point differential favors us every time with that lineup.Cause there is very little offense with that lineup.
Seems like the highest points came early on in the season. I like how the freshman developed and hopefully that core stays together to form some chemistry. This team feels like it doesn't gel. They seem lost at times on the floorUnless we make some noise in the tourney, this season was a huge let down. Lots of questions and concerns right now.
Funkeng hate Funke
I take the bottom three. The one that hurts is the Clark for podz trade. But, hard to predict a guys just quits in the middle of a season. Not a loaded question.
Go back to last summer, knowing what you know now, and pick a trio to be on this team
Group a
Podz
Omar Payne
Jacob Grandison
Group B
TJ
Mayer
Skyy Clark
That said, we get a good draw and win a few in the tourney it changes everything.
Start with the trolley problem, that's a good one.CAN SOMEONE ASK UNDERWOOD SOME TOUGH QUESTIONS!!!!!!!
Because maybe they score like . . . .zilch? Our lineups with Harris-Rodgers-Hawkins have consistently been our best due to the defense and possessions gained and yet Brad never fully commits to it. Why not? Can any insiders explain? It’s ridiculous at this point and it’s already March
Could be the offense? The spread is not the answer for me. Too many players on one side where 2 defenders can guard 3 guys. Rely on one guy to get downhill.I don't get why these guys just grind to a halt like they did down the stretch. Zero purpose out there.
We certainly don't have it now.Penn St. is exactly what you want in a basketball team from an experience / leadership perspective and probably what Brad wants to build to by way of roster construction. Got a bunch of old dudes who know how to execute on both ends of the floor and play harder than their opponent. Outside of getting out-schemed 3x this season and really just being completely unable to stop Pickett, this team came out here and out-hustled and out-fought us on 3 separate occasions. They wanted to be here, and we showed we did not. “Every day guys.” I hope that’s what we get going forward, but it’s just been a disappointing team in the heart / fight / toughness department. I think back to a quote from Brad post-Mizzou: “This team doesn’t have my brand of toughness yet.” I don’t think they ever got it, and things aren’t going to change overnight. Hoping that we can keep recruiting dudes who never take a play off.
Honestly I'd be ecstatic to match up against this team if I were an opposing team.nO oNe WaNtS tO pLaY tHiS tEaM iN mArCh
Like I said, made this account this year after the Northwestern loss on the road I believe. Held out and started trying to talk all optimism. Saw so many great flashes but this team is what it is and my glasses are no longer foggy.strong post to name ratio hah
We had momentum... then Dain inadverntedly head butted a guy. :/I wouldn’t say the effort wasn’t there tonight, because I think it was. We had a ton of momentum at one point, but couldn’t build much of a lead.
Once again, the same things plagued us. Lapses of time with bad shots and blown defense. Missed free throws and layups cost us points. MM didn’t have a good game, unfortunately. But ultimately, we just don’t know how to close out the last 8-10 minutes of close games. It takes a level of focus and discipline that we just don’t seem to have.
Seeding is one thing - we’ve definitely lost an opportunity there. But I wanted to win this one just to get some momentum and confidence going in March. And of close…not to lose to this dang Penn State team a 3rd time in one season
Yeah, they forget that "fan" is short for fanatic . . .There's about 6 miles of reaction between the hatefulness people express here and excitement and happiness. But a lot of "fans" sure seem to latch on to any reason to hate the team they purport to be supporters of.
we just don’t match up well against them personnel wise. Can anyone tell me why Penn State turns into Golden State when they play us
