Meh … it’s one game. Move on.
Naw man, so was Michigan St, so was Northwestern, so was Maryland at home. We almost lost to Nebraska much the same way. This is and has been a trend for multiple weeks now. This isn't one game. This is an accumulation of several games that is now a pattern. People are justified in being frustrated and maddened by this type of collapse

At some point I'm really going to need an explanation as to how our best inbounders, one of our best defenders, one of our best rebounds, one of our best passers, one of our best press breakers, and one of our top 5 free throw shooters isn't allowed to close out games or inbound the ball in crucial situations as our team inevitably takes a nosedive. I do not effing get it. I just don't. Does Ty sleep with Brad's wife at the under 8 timeout every game, because I have no other explanation at this point.

Making the same coaching decisions over and over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. LET. TY. CLOSE. OUT. GAMES. Do that and we'd have 3 less losses.

I would not want to be in that locker room. Can only imagine what Brad said to them, especially Coleman
I would love to be in that locker room! Brad needs to look in the mirror.

Poor offensive scheme
Poor defensive scheme
Horrible in bounds plays
No point guard

These guys have busted their rears. To think we can work with such a short bench is crazy. You can’t play balls out when you know you will not get a blow. We were in physically and mentally exhausted which leads to poor decisions on the court.

Maybe we can drink a double shot of beet juice at half time.

Coleman had one of the lowest basketball IQ 15 seconds I can remember. Missing two free throws to pretty much ice game, to a reckless contest and close out on a three pointer all in 14 game seconds. A 5 point swing.
Missing free throws has nothing to do with basketball IQ

Yeah, he gave up another 5 on 4 3-pointer while complaining that a foul wasn't called when he missed a shot

We had a great one ... He's at Gonzaga now ...
You dont need to be a genius man.. lol Maybe start with passing to our near 90 percent FT shooter on the in bounds, our best
ball handler, and most experienced, mature player catching the ball instead of in bounding it and not touching it down the stretch!
A game or two ago our opponent had a bench T n Domask wasn't selected to shoot it. To.me that was insane and says alot about our head coach. That made zero sense nor does not wanting domask to.have the ball in.his hands when teams are fouling.

Goode might be the worst defensive player I've ever seen suit up for us and that's honestly not an exaggeration IMO.

Domask ain't far behind.

Also can't preach constantly about "everyday guys" and then have Ty only play 15 minutes in this game. I understand he couldn't make FTs earlier in the year but still no excuse for not having him in there.
Couldn’t agree more! Domask is really slow but Goode looks like he’s dragging a fridge! The other team fights with each other on who gets to match up with him. How he could be in the game that much tonight when all we needed to do was play decent defense is unfathomable. And that solely rests on BU’s shoulders. This lack of defense is going to kill us in March! :shield:

You think this group gave 100% of themselves both physically and mentally tonight?

You think Coleman and Harmon were "locked in"?

These are all seniors. This shouldn't happen.....ever, much less multiple times in a season.

Brad needs to take a long look in the mirror. He is just a godawful in game coach.
I've said this for several seasons. He's a good to great recruiter. But his in game stuff is mediocre at best. Our best offense is typically one on one and guys making individual plays. Defensively, he's just far too stubborn. Stays with stuff that doesn't work for way too long.

Imagine having one of the best perimeter defenders in the last 25 years for your program as a coach on your staff

....and you instead choose to make a dude who looks like Gilbert Gottfried's illegitimate son who has never played or coached at a high level before in charge of your defense.

Seriously WTF!!!!

Just have a feeling that BU is so hardheaded that he will not make changes where they are needed. Defensive approach/adjustments (Hamer) and finding someone who can draw up some X's and O's on throw-in's. And maybe have someone else bring up the ball from time to time not named Marcus D.
I won't hold my breath.
