I am excited to see the chaos of comparing 3 loss teams at the end of the season. Hopefully, we will be in that conversation.
yea
but make no mistake - we will never win the argument battle of best 3 loss team

They could've EASILY beaten oregon and indiana. One of those teams we lost to by 53 points.

Their always competitive, even against the best, but never stylistically good enough to take the next step. Iowa is basically our 2022 team year in and year out.

I have no idea why Tennessee is ranked. They've lost to 3 good teams but have beaten absolutely nobody. Their best win is a team that has 1 win in conference. Sorta wild they're still in there.
It's ridiculous. They've literally lost to every team they've played this season with a winning record. Their best win is a one-score victory against a 5-5 Mississippi State Team that has a 1-5 conference record.

They play two more teams with losing records before finally playing Vanderbilt, a team that has feasted on over-rated and over-ranked paper tigers (or Tigers in the case of two of them). Every one of their 3 ranked wins has since fallen out of the rankings, and those 3 teams have a very unimpressive combined record of 14-13.

And Vandy's best win? A one-score victory against a Missouri team that was ranked until this most recent poll, and has also not won a single game against a team with a winning record.

SEC strength is smoke and mirrors.

I’ve given up on the CFP … but hey man, let’s root for a 2007-esque end to this season and watch it all burn and see what happens! 🤣 It’s easy to forget now, but our upset of #1 OSU that year was being promoted as us knocking them out of the National Championship … a few crazy weeks and several crazy upsets later, OSU was in the NC game, and we were headed to Pasadena!

They did almost beat both Indiana and Oregon. (A couple others beat me to this.)
