I don't see this team winning on the road at IU. They are better than us and we have yet to show any road backbone.

I was thinking this way all week, and it might just be the pregame optimism that hits me every single time, but ... dude, I'm starting to wonder if the first statement is even true, and we have played one road game all year: our FIRST, to start off the Big Ten season at one of the tougher places to play in the conference.

With the exception of UW and possibly PU (and heck, Minnesota??), I don't think there's a team we can't beat. It's going to be a ridiculous Big Ten season, if the first couple slates of games is any indication.

I think we can do this!

Had to turn down a free ticket to the game this morning. One of my Hoosier friends called me this morning and had an extra ticket to get rid of. Unfortunately, prior commitments would not allow me to make it so I'm a little disappointed about that.

Not necessarily a bad thing - probably sitting and surrounded by people dressed in red would not be pleasant.

Yea, and I was afraid if I did go it would be a blowout and would have been a miserable experience. Then I would have had to listen to him gloat for 3 hours diving home

My son begged me to take him to this game since we live so close. But I didn't want to blow my hard earned money to see my favorite team get blown out. Admittedly I have a bit more optimism for this game than a month ago, but I still expect a loss, so I'll follow the game for free from home.

Hate to say it, but I still think Crean is the better coach, and they have a better overall team. We lose this one by 15-20 points. Hope I'm wrong, and hope Groce and co. prove me wrong!

My early season optimism is gone. I don't know what to expect. We either get blown out or squeak by with a win.

Trying to find reasons for how we can pull this one out, but this is a much bigger game for Indiana, although, every big ten game is huge. I think we keep it close until Blackmon hits a few threes late in the game to nail it down.
Indiana-82
Illinois-74

Hope I'm wrong.
