I don't know if he'll be back for Saturday or where he'll be in the season, but right now no."
And more importantly, why would Indiana Football have a sense of superiority over anybody, including us?I don't understand why opposing fans feel the need to come to our site and explain to us why they think their team is better and is going to win. Does it feed their sense of superiority?

I always thought we'd add his name to the athletics admin building, Bielfeldt-Bielema Athletics Center.CBS projecting an 11-1 record. File that under things I didn't think I'd see. Bret could run for governor, mayor, have a statue built & have his name added to the Zuppke Field name.
Yes. It also soothes their insecurity.I don't understand why opposing fans feel the need to come to our site and explain to us why they think their team is better and is going to win. Does it feed their sense of superiority?
I think we should all feel good about the fact that we are arguing or discussing on which ranked team is better? These programs have like 8 win floors right now.And more importantly, why would Indiana Football have a sense of superiority over anybody, including us?![]()
Their own site stinks and they know it. For a fan board we're pretty tight and well spoken. With the exception of me, of course.I don't understand why opposing fans feel the need to come to our site and explain to us why they think their team is better and is going to win. I'm still rankled by this....my biggest criticism of this staff.even more disappointing given that the game was out of hand when he got injured
Same reason they run up the score over cupcakes. Insecurity.I don't understand why opposing fans feel the need to come to our site and explain to us why they think their team is better and is going to win. Does it feed their sense of superiority?
The guys were counting on now had one year less experience then too.Scott didn't play in the 2nd halves vs Purdue and MINN last year. Both were underwhelming performances by the secondary.
Man, Bielema’s presser today has me all sorts of queasy.
1. Nobody else seems to have reported on it, but Bret said at the 42-second mark “Ca’Lil Valentine was with us, only guy that played last week that hasn’t been cleared so far. J Bo (Bowick) was out there today and I think as long as he goes forward we’ll have him.” So, does that mean CaLil hasn’t been cleared and we didn’t even know he was injured?
2. Jaheim Clarke was pretty good towards end of last year but he wasn’t exactly a world beater, and now he’ll be rusty as heck if he plays. Newsflash, though, if all he’s doing is running right now, I’m pretty doubtful he plays.
3. Xavier Scott has gone from “ok” to not okay, to now being told where he’s at for the rest of the season isn’t clear…that sounds like a multi-week thing at minimum. If you’re telling me that essentially our #1 and #2 best CB’s are out against a team with stellar wide receivers I’m pretty uncomfortable.
Good news is guys like Heckel and Rooks getting more playing time is a great thing. It also makes it less of a choice on getting your best players (Bailey, Resitich, M. Scott) all on the field at the same time.
This could get ugly quick or it could actually be fine, just like when Rosiek went down last year.
Not true. There’s been quite a few attempts, the last few years. There’s just no need. We have a bevy of our own resident haters (they call themselves pragmatistsTo be fair, the fanbase should be honored. This is the first time in the internet era where fans of other teams felt it was worthwhile to rile up the fanbase.
Xavier Scott likely out.Is someone injured/not playing that we should know about? The line ballooning to 6.5 is insane
Re watching WMU game as we sit here. Valentine went down 3:45 to go in 3rd qtr.. grabbing behind his knee/some calf. Seemed to walk off fine.Man, Bielema’s presser today has me all sorts of queasy.
