I'm concerned about our run defense against Iowa. Can't let them control the ball on the ground

Feagin and Bryant both listed as questionable today for Saturday
that is not good.

We are thin at rb. not much better with experienced WR .

has Miller seen any action ? Robert has him listed as his backup , but that was back in August

i'm starting paddock personally... if you put devito back on this team, i got paddock qb1, devito, and then altmyer... like someone said, it's the charisma and the team swagger

They put in hollins and he had a few catches; crucial 3rd down catch. I guess he would be the one, but likely a rotation I’m thinking.

Tricky spot for BB.

Have the old adage of no player should lose his job due to injury on one side, as well as the fact I wouldn't doubt there was some kind of, "You're our guy." deal with LA when he came over.

And on the other side, have the fact that Paddock is playing better than LA has or could at this point, and the team isn't blind. Not sure what kind of message it sends the team if you start LA. In my mind, it makes it seem like the best players won't play necessarily, and that's not very inspiring/good for recruiting. He could lean on the injury thing though if called into question. If I was LA, I would go to BB and tell him to start Paddock - I think the team would really respect him for it, and it's not like Paddock is going to be here next year - feel like it would be a lot more problematic of a situation if he was (in regards to who to start next week). If Paddock bombs in the first half, could pop LA in and call the experiment over.

You kind of have to be honest with yourself when a dude leads a game winning drive and follows it up with a 500+ yard win...
We will not be able to sustain long drives in order to score on the Iowa defense. Our best chance to win is with quick scores via the long ball. Based on their performance to date, Paddock is better suited for that than Altmyer is.

Doing to be interesting to see how both QB's fair against a significantly stronger defense.

I didn't see the Iowa-Rutgers game but noticed that, while Rutgers rolled up 361 yards v. OSU (lost 35-16) and 257 v. Michigan (lost 31-7), they managed only 127 yesterday in Kinnick. Our D needs to show up big this week.

More than twice as big.

We need 2-3 TDs from our D.
