Got my tickets for Lawrence, KS.....and can't wait! I'm predicting another exciting 1-score game. Our 1-0 start is going to make it a much more fun trip than 0-1! If we can pull off another victory, we just might get close to a home sell-out for Penn State in week #3.

NOTE: Funny that the two worst Big Ten defenses after one game (based on points allowed) are Purdue and Illinois.

I’m having to condition myself to stop clicking on the ‘Illini basketball’ tab immediately when I come to the site. Hopefully the interior linemen on both sides got a wake up call, I like what I saw from the rest of the team. Would be great to get a Friday night win on ESPN and be 2-0 going the Penn State game. Anything is possible! Go Illini

I used to have the same problem whenever i logged on , but about 3 years ago I started clicking on the new posts tab and now I am up to date on all the forum sections as the new posts tab allows me to see all aspects of what is going on here at loyalty........
the way the new posts tab is updated allows me to stay current as it shows me the newest posts from where I left certain threads and it is so much easier to stay abreast of what this board has to offer.........

just the way I traverse now and maybe it's not for everyone but it works great for me.....JMHO

What I heard is the qb from Ks had back why he didn’t play. Go Illini. We played a running qb yesterday. I will say Toledo is a very good team.

I do think that this Toledo game is going to help us a lot next week. Seeing what a mobile qb can do and where we ran into issues defending him. Not playing well in what should be our positions of strength tonight will also give some extra motivation to those groups. And Bret has a lot of tape to use as teaching moments and motivational tools for this one. And it all came with a win.

From a coaching standpoint, this might be the best thing Bret could have asked for before Kansas. Get a win where players will likely be chomping at the bit to learn and play better.

I expected a much more focused team with much better line play and discipline next week. And if Altmyer can replicate his performance, that combination could get us the win.
