I get the frustration there, but in this diverse world of college basketball, it happens all the time. Indiana lost to NW at home and how would we handle being Iowa fans when they lost to EIU? We just had 3 good wins in a row, we better be positive before it changes again. lol
Or Michigan losing to CMU. Losses happen in college basketball, and none of our losses look terribly bad from a selection committee standpoint.

I’m with ya, for sure the blues give us the blues. We’ll probably never win in those things again….

Lol But what’s this guy know? In the same debate as this, he proudly declared himself to be….wait for it………………..

If he’s Spartacus than I’m Wyatt Earp.
AND…Obviously I’m not….I’m Virgil Earp.
To be fair, one of our best moments ever at The Barn occurred wearing the blues. :)

As I've noted on here in prior seasons, that's one of my favorite Illini clips. I still vividly remember sitting on my couch Sunday dinnertime in the final five mins as we were trailing woefully, completely confident that we would win and secure a share of the reg season title. It was simply a question of how it would go down and how utterly ridiculous whatever Frankie would do to secure the game winning shot would be.

Not so sure we'll squeeze into the AP Top 25............didn't realize we were all the way down at #33. Perhaps 25th?
#23 indeed!!!!

Back in the Top 25. (And yet Providence was mentioned just once in the real poll.)

Long time lurker first time poster!

Was going to make my account after Braggin’ Rights but held off…

Look back at BU’s seasons since 2018-19 (with last year being sort of an outlier due to injuries/suspensions) and look at the team record through its first 14 games… 4-10,9-5,9-5,2021-22,9-5…and then look at the way those teams ended the year.

This is a classic Underwood January turnaround. He’s got these boys firing on all cylinders and this train will continue chugging along. We have really good players and a really good staff guys…

You're a savant. Is Providence in there twice, too? If so, I'm going to wire my life savings to you this evening for investment. ;) :ROFLMAO:

Glad we're back in there. Let's have a solid week and move back into the Top 20.

lol Dain wondering why the floor is at knee height.

(BTW, he's massive. On Friday night Jaden Atkins or Tyson Walker tried to take a charge on him down low, was flattened, and got up very slowly and completely dazed. I commented to my friend: "What was he thinking? That's like me deciding to take a charge on Dain. It would incapacitate me permanently. Or kill me.")

DAIN: And he has Kenny Norman type footwork in the paint. (In fact, probably better.) However, Ken developed a nice 15-foot jumper by his senior year. Hoping Dain might do the same. He'd be unstoppable!

As I type that, I believe KN missed his last ever 15 footer as an Illini ---- vs. Wimp Sanders and Alabama in the NCAA tourney. Upset loss to the Crimson Tide if my memory serves me correctly.

COACH'S POLL. AP left us out this week.......at #30.

It's odd to see such a gap between the two polls.

Dain is probably thinking about being back at home and how he will perform in front of his family. I don't think I saw anyone comment yet on this being his homecoming back to Minneapolis...
