I remember watching that game. Epic move!
We did it at Penn State one year, too, only our seats were right behind the basket. We bought a block of tickets claiming to be a young alumni group and got courtside before ripping off our top layer to reveal Krush gear at the tip. That was awesome, and thankfully it wasn't the 38-33 debacle.

After watching Ohio St, Indiana, and Michigan St struggle yesterday...just find a way to grind out a win. Doesn't have to be pretty right now, just get it done.

Any game we can win, no matter who it's against, is a blessing right now. With players getting sick, lack of games the past couple weeks, and not a lot of practicing together it probably won't be pretty. We can worry more about how good we look in March.

I'm also wondering how they handle playing time. I'm assuming going from sitting in an apartment for a week or more, to playing a high level D-1 game could put some guys at a higher risk of injury.

Two games in three days with zero practice is gonna be real interesting. Hope our guys are up to it.
I would like to see a new 3 pt FG record.......How about an even 20.......I really really do........................

Exactly. Take nothing for granted.

Even last years team, best team in the B1G, went to OT at Nebraska and Indiana. Also, in a sizable hole entering the second half at Northwestern. These teams are capable of winning on any given night.

Show up and play. That’s all.

Go Illini

Any Big Ten game, especially on the road, is a potential L.

Am I the only one that feels like this is a trap game?
Is this even a thing anymore? Look at yesterday. Every home team looked to be a dog and one won, another lost in OT and the other fought to the end. I suppose for fans "trap games" exist, but I've got to believe for a veteran team like this it just won't be the case anytime this year. Every conference game is losable and definitely every away game. I think our coaches and players know it.

Bret,
IMHO, you are always going to have a potential for a let down/trap game. Guys think, "we should beat them" and an opponent jumps in and outplays them. It happens to unprepared teams. You could say that (even though they were ranked) that Loyola last year was a trap game. Did we or didn't we look ill-prepared for what they brought? Yes, the coaching staff is mostly to blame for the loss. But, you're right that well coached, senior lead teams shouldn't experience this, but not every coach is as intense as BU and not every team has Trent, Plummer, Monte, Grandy-type leadership.

For the first time in my life as a fan, I legitimately like that we are unranked. We went from #10 to unranked because of a rough patch, and I am sure the guys feel somewhat disrespected ... and I think it has showed. We have had great intensity lately, and we look like we have something to prove. I really hope we come out and punch Minnesota in the mouth early.

With all of that said, I think a win at The Barn (and a win vs. Maryland at home, of course) gets these guys back in the top 25, where they belong, for the rest of the year.

2008. I was there, too!
I feel like I went to The Barn twice on Krush trips. I was trying to remember where all I went, and I know I went to Crisler (Michigan), The Barn (Minnesota) and Bryce Jordan (Penn State). I went to Assembly Hall (Indiana) but I think that was just as a regular fan, not Krush. I know one year I went on two Krush trips and I think I went to The Barn a second time.

I think it’s going to be a tough game. We don’t know who’s practiced and who hasn’t. All we do know is we are going to need a lot of minutes from the bench.

Interesting comment on Belo. First time I’ve seen it directly reported that he is having complications from the concussion.
