6 of 8 road games to end the season. That will be hard. But if we get through it, we will be dialed up for the tourney

Michigan out here postponing our game for questionable reasons. Meanwhile, look at this schedule Nebraska's playing coming back from their break:

2/6 @MSU
2/8 @Minny
2/10 Wisc
2/12 UI
2/14 @PSU
2/17 MD
2/20 PU
2/28 Rut
3/2-3/4 @UI
3/7 @NU

And I bet they'll keep making an effort to reschedule as many other games as possible (especially between the PU and Rut games). Nebraska has nothing to play for this season, and they're putting forth a tremendous effort to make these games happen. For shame, Michigan. For shame.
WOW!!

I sure hope MICH suffers a similar fate.

St this point, we just need opportunities to put W's on so we can win the title, if we do so without playing scUM, it is their problem, not ours. Hopefully Wisc can beat them in Sat

Kudos to Nebraska for agreeing to that schedule (assuming they had some say)- after our game ended on Saturday they will have played three games before they play us! Crazy!

clearly not fair to them but they are taking one for the conference here

I actually love watching this team play on the road and don’t find it being a disadvantage *this season*
I really think they embrace the #RoadKill mentality and it dials them in a little extra. I expect to win all these games with the exception of @Ohio State

In a perfect world we go into the half up 25 and can do some experimental stuff in the second half. But in this conference you take any win you can get.

These are the ones that bother me the most. The upside is that we get an expected win. The downside is a disasterous loss that will put a major, major dent into our hopes of a high seed. We have three games left like this.... Nebraska (2) and Northwestern. The expected outcomes are that we win all of them, semi comfortably and I don't even want to think about the unexpected.

Probably be 1 close, we usually don't coast to wins.

There isn't much to gain here for sure. But I don't care, I'm just happy to get to see these guys play!
Agree. And I'm speculating it will be closer most of the game than we want it to be. Minnesota was favored over the Huskers by 11 last night - at home. I speculate the Illini by 8-9 on the road.

ILL 83
NEB 74

Next two make-up games would be the two Michigan schools, both on the road.

Ballpark, how much do we need to win by to keep our Net ranking where it is? I understand that the ranking doesn't directly look at margin of victory, but it does seem to look at it indirectly, through points per possession on the offensive and defensive side. If so, and assuming an uptempo game, do we need to win by 20 or so?

The real positive to all of this is it APPEARS the BIG is serious about teams that had Covid issues to make up games missed. scUM’s ending 11 games are very difficult and they will have to play them in a compressed time period.
I really feel having Nebraska (2) times and Northwestern included in our final 8 games is a huge advantage. Really road vs. home at this point is not much different?
