Wonder how much research they did for this considering he was benched because he had a concussion not for throwing ints...Luke getting some love - top QBs

Heard from a friend in Omaha and another in Lincoln that he at least had a close call with getting a co-ed pregnant or something kind of Urban Meyer-esque like that (I cannot recall the details) … ZERO idea if that’s just a rumor, but the fact it exists and two people who aren’t friends heard about it at least speaks to rumors floating around about him while he was there. The rumors around Lincoln were around him being back in his element and having too much fun, with some other rumblings sprinkled in.
No matter how good you are, at the B1G or SEC level, you have to be 100% dialed in 24/7 to succeed.
My bet is that he learned a valuable lesson from that experience, but then again, he walked away a very rich man, and he gets to spend time in Scottdale with his family, so it can't be all bad.

These writers do as little 'research' as possible... They rely on 'popular name brands' first, and then total yards & number of TD's and finally a low INT number...Wonder how much research they did for this considering he was benched because he had a concussion not for throwing ints...
As I’ve said before, journalists are pack animals. They’ll seldom stray far from the herd. There be dragons. These writers do as little 'research' as possible... They rely on 'popular name brands' first, and then total yards & number of TD's and finally a low INT number...
Yea they absolutely terrorizing the IlliniInquirer comments. They seem pretty confident...Kansas was too...just watched a Youtube video from a pretty popular channel previewing this game. Hundreds of Husker fans in the comments are certain they beat us by 20+
Just want to bask in the 3-0 for a moment

And Iowa State basketball fans, too…….Yea they absolutely terrorizing the IlliniInquirer comments. They seem pretty confident...Kansas was too...![]()
I notice a bit of a Napoleon Syndrome from the Big Eight goin’ on here, lol.And Iowa State basketball fans, too…….
I agree with you.Idk man, picking 7-8 in general is pretty reasonable in my opinion but saying “at least” 7-8 wins is hard for me to buy into.
You have to finish 4-5 to get to 7 wins. On its face, expecting that when we’re 3-0 sounds simple. But, of those 9 games, 4 of those teams (@22NEB, @10PSU, 16UM, @9UO) are currently ranked above you. Let’s say you “expect” to grab one of these (which is bold). You’ve got 3 losses there. You have to go 3-2 against the other 5 to get to 7. Don’t snag one and you can only afford one loss against the rest.
MSU, Rutgers have shown themselves as capable teams this far.
NW, Minnesota, Purdue don’t look good, but when’s the last time we’ve avoided every toe-stubbing opportunity laid in front of us?
I think 7-8 wins is doable (if we’re as good as no-context games make us look), but I don’t think you can treat that as the minimum.
Yup, hoping they get served a HUGE plate of crow!Yea they absolutely terrorizing the IlliniInquirer comments. They seem pretty confident...Kansas was too...![]()
the "N" on the helmet joke made manifest.I don't think this has been mentioned yet, but Nebraska has canceled in person classes on Friday to accommodate students so they can fully attend and enjoy the game. . .
Come on, they are just taking Cardale Jones’ viewpoints to the next level!
That is correct, just the in person part of the classes were canceled, not the classes themselves. Well unless they're lab classes I guess, lol. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. However, Nebraska still did it specifically because of the football game, which is pretty incredible.I believe classes weren't canceled but moved online for Friday.
www.footballforumsguide.comI just checked out the Nebby fan site. The one is found was boring and hardly any comments. There may be a different site that I didn't find. By the way Dan.... thank you for such a great site. It always amazes me when I check out other fan sites and see how unsophisticated they are.
First of all, that's inaccurate. They have gone to an online format for Friday to accomodate 90,000 people coming on campus without the obvious headache of parking of commuters, instructors and other employees at the same time. Seems a very prudent decision, to me. I'd suggest you posting this says much more about your priorities than it does "a lot of today's..."
