I am looking forward to the Watson/Frazier matchup tonight. I personally would have loved to have had Watson as an ILLINI, but I LOVE having the guards that we do now. This matchup should be fun!

Agreed. Should be interesting tonight. :thumb:

Might be nothing at all, but watch how the younger guys interact with alstork on the court. Anyone else notice they tend to blow him off?

Rationally, Nebraska should win (better team playing at home).

However, ILL will win the game tonight. It will be close until the last minute but the final score will be ILL 85 - Nebraska 77.

Never noticed that. Will have to watch for it tonight. I hope not. That dude works hard on the ball defense, helping those younger guys get some steals and turnovers. If he could minimize his dumb fouls, especially without Lucas there to spell him on defense, we'd be more consistent on that end.

I'll also pay attention to how our defense plays when he's on the bench.

Speculation about the team dynamic IMHO is just a sign of frustration. If the flu has hobbled several guys, it's certainly possible we start to turn it around. I guess all I'm saying is I'm not abandoning all hope, despite the horrible status of our tournament resume.

The first sentence of this post is EXACTLY why we as ILLINI fans are so dead set on seeing this program rebound and have success ASAP.

When if ever concerning basketball in the past would any of us uttered that sentence on the internet, verbally with friends or over a beer at a sports bar with complete strangers?

"Rationally, Nebraska should win.....AGHHHHHHHH, damn we need recruits!:chief:

Gotta love fair weather fans.

If Illini sports was the Titanic, I will be one of the band that cheers all the way to the bottom of the sea of despair and losses. When they discover the wreck in a hundred years, you will find my bones wrapped in an orange sweater, fist clenched in my last moment of fandom.
You can take away my money and my possessions, but you can't take away my orange and blue heart.

Win, or die trying. :hailtotheorange:

Best. Post. Ever.
