Do you go ahead and play IW next week to look forward to 21?
I mean, probably? I don't have any insight in to the team but it definitely feels like Rod and Peters can't get on the same page and it's probably best to move on despite eligibility. It's incredibly frustrating because I think Peters had a legit chance to be the realist QB we've had in a long time but he just couldn't hit a consistent stride.

We'll probably end up with the O looking like what Nebraska runs and it terrifies me.

That’s the key word isn’t it. I don’t know why he could look so sharp for 18 minutes and look so poor for the rest of the game. Not sure what the coaching staff might be thinking at this point. He just looked so good for 5 straight quarters. Personally, I’d go with IW. Northwestern is very sound defensively, but a different look might give us a better chance. I’m guessing we won’t know until right before the game.

Coaching. Lovie isn't a QB guru and Rod is in the booth.

FWIW I don't think Rod is not a good coach, I just don't get why it doesn't seem like we ever get safe yards. We'll go slow developing zone run, get stuffed, and then run a even slower counter run play, get stuffed, and then expect Peters to hit literally Barker or Imatorbhebe or bust.

Why don't we have a QB coach on staff? Arguably the most impactful position on the team - R. O'Toole said he loved having Broehm as QB coach when Petrino was the OC under Zook. All other positions have their own guy.

It's likely a delegated role to one of the offensive coaches, but QB is such an important position it's worth having a QB coach.

Don’t see us staying within 14
Well, if we hold them to less than two touchdowns. Buahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Like you, I'm rather pessimistic. Actually, I'm having dark, foreboding thoughts. Imagine the orange and blue being smothered by that ugly purple (again). We should all start drinking about noon on Friday and just keep on until noon, Sunday.

The good news is they don’t typically score a lot of points. Just enough to win. I could see us covering if we can get a couple scores. It will probably take a few turnovers for that to happen.

The problem is they can probably just power run over us ala Mikel LeShoure in Wrigley which means they likely won't turn the ball over. If we don't make a team turn the ball over at least 3 times we lose. I think they win 49-13 in one of the most boring games ever watched because they will just keep doing the same thing and we won't be able to stop it while smothering our run game.

Fitz/Hankowitz have that NU defense playing at a high level. Gonna be a tough game - Rod has to call a great game that is well executed to have a chance.

Getting a bit anxious to see what happens in the next 2-3 weeks (besides Christmas!)

Is 29 enough to win , that was last year and that nu team was not that good
