Northwestern won the Sweet Sioux Tomahawk in its last year (2008). Is it sitting somewhere in their trophy case?

Yeah I can’t see more than 10,000 crazy people sitting in Wrigley freezing their butts off for a NW/UI football game. Low 20s wind chill in the teens. Let’s just get out of there with a low scoring win 17-12.

T Brooks does not appear to be in a great spot with the staff. Good thing the secondary is an area of strength for us this season. Hopefully, the improved LB play the last couple of weeks can continue, and we can afford be a little more aggressive with pressure against NW and bowl opponent.

Yeah, I do not expect to see that trophy sitting in the Northwestern trophy case very often. Lots of cobwebs will grow in that spot.

Unfortunately, the Illibuck spot in the Illinois trophy case has a lot of dust accumulating. I think 2025 is a good time to bring the wooden turtle home.

Maybe Northwestern will do a cost-benefit analysis and stay in Evanston

Got to hold the Illibuck in the North End Zone weight room/players area in 2008 during a tour of the facilities. I'd love to do the same in 2025/26.
