Given the Nittany Lions are at home and may be desperate , I decided to break out the conjure doll. Her name is"Yomama

I know many of you are thinking, "we can beat Penn State without calling forth the spirit world."

At this point in the season, I just don't think we should take any chances.

In case you haven't noticed you cannot criticize any player on this forum. Just show them some love. This team is filled with stars and 1 not so much.
I am one who doesn't mind if people are a little critical of our players and coaches. I think it makes for better discussion to hear from both sides. Some?/most?/all? the players make more money than the average fan, which is to say they aren't really amateurs any more and, in my opinion, forfeit some of the protections given to student athletes of the past who chose to come play here for free. So, what I'm saying is I don't believe you are a troll just because you are critical of players. I think it's fair game.

But as with most things in life, it's not as much what you say, it's how you say it. Your criticism toward our players and toward other posters is oddly hostile at times.

Probably more important though is that if you're going to provide criticism, you need to have logic/rationale/data baked into the argument you're making. That has been lacking in your posts.

And finally, if you want people to actually listen to your feedback and take it seriously, you need to have some sort of credibility to your name. This will be your biggest challenge, Vinegarben. Before the Rutgers game, you, in so many words said that Coleman Hawkins sucks on offense and any poster who believes otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. Then Coleman goes out immediately after and leads the team in scoring. So, that leaves me wondering if maybe you don't know what you are talking about.

Anyway, I hope you find this feedback helpful. Good luck and go Illini.

Jim Gaffigan on being a college bowling coach: What kind of strategy advice is a bowling coach giving? “You know what? This time Timmy, I want you to knock down all the pins.” “You sure?” “Trust me. Just do it son!””
I used to laugh to myself at all the baseball coaches and parents that would offer encouragment to the little league pitchers, "Just throw strikes!"

I am manifesting that RJ will have a good game.
After having some time to center himself and heal that shoulder, I predict he will put up 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 0 turnovers.
Not all that confident he will see the floor. Pre game coach was specifically asked about RJ and said he would be dressed. Follow up question - is he available to play - same answer he would be dressed.

It really is beginning to look as if unless RJ starts knocking down shots he will not see the floor much with Goode back along with Ty doing basically every other skill more effectively. It really sucks based on how RJ played last year and shot the ball. Many expected more from RJ and hopefully he can hit a few more of his good looks. If he doesn’t he will drop deeper into the rotation. Especially after violating team rules
Yes unless he starts hitting some threes there is no reason to play him. While he does play pretty good defense , you would rather have Ty on the floor as he is an even better defender and stronger rebounder.

doubt RJ see's any minutes.....BU was very to the point that he would be in uniform , just as he was the last game ......Never has BU said RJ is off suspension............Look for Luke to get more minutes and hit a couple of 3's......

PSU is tough at home, not so much on the road. They are 11-2 (their only road win is us). We are going to have to really bring it tonight to get a W - not going to be a pushover.
Which his hilarious, because have you watched any of their home games? I know there is more to home court advantage than the crowd itself (everything from being used to the rims to sleeping in your own bed the nigh before), but that place looks like a dungeon and it's always about 40% full.

for those in the know, I'm curious, for games like these, does the team fly in this morning ?

Dungeon? It’s a palace compared to the RAC (Rutgers hole in the ground). And more friendly to opponents than Maryland.

Not sure why, but compare 11-2 at home to 1-7 on the road for PSU. Something is the difference.
