With BU at the helm, when we keep a team under 70 it’s more than likely a win.
Keeping Sasha away from hitting 3’s will go a long way towards keeping the Boilers sub 70.
I am confident DMFW will give Ivey fits, but Ivey is legit and will get his. But in all honesty, I want to see Da’Monte make a mother lovin’ free throw again!
Win or lose, if tonight’s nightcap plays out similarly to the earlier Illinois Purdue matinée, we are in for a treat.

I just want to observe how wonderful it is that we all can wake up on game day in early February and be completely jacked about a titanic showdown featuring The Beloved. This seems to have become the norm during the past couple seasons, and it feels a great deal like it did many years ago. The program is back where it belongs, thanks to BU and his splendid recruits. This group, particularly b/c of Trent & Damonte's seasoning and leadership, is truly special. I'm enjoying a heaping portion of gratitude with breakfast.

Two of the very best, most well respected college basketball coaches taking their talented, highly ranked teams into an epic matchup to determine who will have the inside track on winning the Big Ten title. Both have refined and developed not only the talents of their players, but have also produced an exceptional group of fine young men who will succeed well after their basketball careers. Brad Underwood and Matt Painter represent the best of their profession and are outstanding leaders. May the best team win (Go Illini!)

It’s brutal on the East Coast…I teach, so I wake up at 5:15 in the am
Kofi maybe needs to lead elbows first a bit more often against other bruisers like Edey. Not a good idea against smaller guys because they'll go flying but maybe Edey needs a few more bruises after going against Kofi. Nothing dirty like Edey does swinging his elbows at head level (EVERY friggin play) but his ribs should be pummeled enough to make it hurt to breathe.

To talk about BUs defensive strategies….he doesn’t switch it up because they don’t work on zone in practice. He believes man to man is what they are best at and only having one defense doesn’t leave the kids any choice but to buy into that philosophy. Also he has one the best if not they best on ball defender in the country and off the best paint cloggers as well. But really it comes down to what BU philosophy as a coach and what he believes in. And he believes 100% in our guys understanding and executing our man to man.
