"Andrew Siciliano (play-by-play), Michael Robinson (analyst), Caroline Pineda (reporter) have the call on Peacock."

I can't determine whether having a play-by-play guy named "Siciliano" doing our Rutgers game in New Jersey is good luck (a la Tommy Cutlets, who no doubt will be in the house in advance of his Sunday start) or bad.

It's just so odd because I ve never seen us in jerseys like this, practice or otherwise.

This is DeVito from 2022(we would have had these jerseys at the time, or at least closest thing) Luke's hand blocking through I i can get but the blue trim on the sleeves is maybe... tucked on DeVitos jersey or it's a different cut?
I think I see it on Tommy's sleeve too but maybe it rolled up a little and it's not as visible but this is deeper than I usually look at the uniforms, some of the other guys on here are a lot crazier about uniforms....

Update, you can see it better here on Art, maybe it's something about the #9 uni

His uniform just fit a little different but we did wear them for the spring game.

I'm seeing Illinois at -1.5 (Vegas Insider). Regardless, it looks like a Pick'em game, so the spread might float back/forth all week.

Saturday will feature perhaps my top two favorite coaches in the Big 10. I particularly like what Schiano did during his first stint
in Piscataway. Pretty sure I'm going to stick with the good guys in all three of our remaining games.

27 ILLINI
20 Scarlet Knights

(8-2 in predicting the winner. 6-4 against the spread. NOTE: My last prediction was over on Robert's site.)
I like this prediction deon… Cassettes stay in the box for you this week. I think you’ll be 9-2 after Saturday

I just bought tickets for the game on Saturday. First time ever that I will see an Illini football at an 'Away' venue! I'm driving up from South Carolina to spend a week with my in-laws in New Jersey, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity. My tickets are in Section 101 and going to do some pre-game tailgating in the 'Silver' lot. Hope to see a lot of orange and blue in the mix and the Illini can grab a 'W'. No matter what happens, I'm so damn proud of this team. The win over Michigan this year made the season for me on so many levels! Go Illini!

Not sure EXACTLY how relevant this is, but while it's always difficult to play on the road ... it's worth pointing out that these are the road crowds we have played in front of this year:

86,936 at #22 Nebraska (W 31-24 in OT) [night game]
109,911 at #9 Penn State (L 7-21) [night game]
59,830 at #1 Oregon (L 9-38)

So we have played in three of the most difficult environments in all of college football, with two of the three games being night game atmospheres and the other being vs. the best team in the country. While Oregon blew us out, we beat Nebraska and were driving with a chance to tie it vs. PSU with a couple minutes left in the game.

Rutgers is averaging about 48,000 per game, and they drew just over 44,000 for their 12:00 pm EST game vs. Minnesota two weeks ago. It is Senior Day and their fans might be a bit more excited after the win at Maryland, but hopefully this atmosphere will seem comparatively undaunting for our guys compared to what they have seen already this season!

P.S. Also kind of crazy that by this weekend, we will not have played a road game in almost a month...

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but the line opened with Rutgers as a 1.5 point favorite. Now the Illini are favored by 1. People are laying money on the orange and blue.

I think we'll be in good shape if our OC doesn't lose his mind for 1 series in each half. Seems to happen every game. I like Reed at middle linebacker.
What are you talking about? For 11 of the 20 drives we have had so far to start a half we have scored points on.
