Great news. Watching him writhing on the floor in agony was very tough to watch.
I was really worried that it was going to end up similar to Sissoko's sucker punch to Ayo's nose or worse.

"He was going for the ball, it was just a basketball play! I don't like this" what a load of crap that wasNeat. Hopefully TJ doesn't get punched in the face in this one so we don't have to listen to Rob explain it away as a basketball play.
We are on of the best 10 teams in the country. We need to show it the rest of the year, it starts tomorrow
I’ve been disappointed by the crowd in general, too, when we’ve been able to come to games. It seems that too many people are just Too Cool to cheer and make noise. And their big energy sumps. Not just the Krush, but the entire SFC. I keep reading that it's been loud in there or the crowd has been great (mostly in the hype from the commentators). But, from TV, the crowd has not looked engaged or seemed very loud most of the time. I hate to say it, but Northwestern had more of home court advantage against us than we have had for basically the entire season. I hope TSJ returns to his true form and wakes up a sleepy-appearing home crowd.
Hummel might actually be for us tomorrow.. since we’re playing Indiana
Did it go up or down?-14.5 ... What the hell happened
TJ rust free. No stupid slip-ups. Own the SFC and be terrifying road-killers.We are on of the best 10 teams in the country. We need to show it the rest of the year, it starts tomorrow
I kind of thought the nugget thing was cute in the beginning, but now I get annoyed that some of our loudest fan involvment comes from the prospect of free food.I’ve been disappointed by the crowd in general, too, when we’ve been able to come to games. Hey, if you’re just going to watch the game, stay home. You’ll see more. The fun of going in person is participating. We heard more ILL-INI in Piscataway than Champaign.
If free chance for nuggets is what gets the loudest reaction from the fans, something is wrong.I kind of thought the nugget thing was cute in the beginning, but now I get annoyed that some of our loudest fan involvment comes from the prospect of free food.
This is another weird phenomenon that’s been going on at least since COVID … Illini fans away from Champaign seem louder and more engaged. Vegas, Evanston, St. Louis, etc.I’ve been disappointed by the crowd in general, too, when we’ve been able to come to games. It seems that too many people are just Too Cool to cheer and make noise. I believe he's been on the beach for several games, injured
This is EXACTLY the reason I am on this site hours every day.... absolutely hilarious! lol There is absolute truth to the term, "Laughter is the best medicine!"
Says to me Ware is out-14.5 ... What the hell happened

Gotta rinse the taste of this 3 of 6 spell.Guys, we need to win this one. Just letting everyone know. Just win.
he's not going to last I heardI was wondering if Ware will play. Their last game he was in a boot.

I am older than you, graduated high-school in 1981. I agree the age at which you became a fan plays a large part of the rival, because of what teams we struggled with. But I would also say,, the part of the state you live in plays a bigger part. I live in the border of Iowa and Missouri and have pure disdain for Iowa. I have had to deal with Iowa fans my entire life. They are the rudest, most ignorant, and arrogant morons in the Big 10. Missouri people, I honestly never hear a peep out of them about Mizzu. Even when I was in college at North East Missouri State in Kirksville (now Truman State). Even at NMSU, the only fans that were irritating where the Iowa fans. Did I mention I hate Iowa?Iowa, Michigan, Mizzou and others have become worthy of our disdain over time. But I became a rabid Illini fan around 1984, when I ten years old. I hate Indiana. I HATE INDIANA. I think most Illini fans my age feel the same way.
Beat these suckers!
Oh I don't know about that . . . I think ScUM fans will give them a run for the money . . .I am older than you, graduated high-school in 1981. I have noticed this too. Very strange. Vegas was an absolute madhouse and we technically only had a quarter of the stadium (realistically about 3/4).This is another weird phenomenon that’s been going on at least since COVID … Illini fans away from Champaign seem louder and more engaged. Vegas, Evanston, St. Louis, etc.
I hear you on the shaken trust. But the good news is, that team that beat Mizzou does still exist in its entirety! Gotta believe that they'll regain their old form soon. And what better time than against IU at home. We owe them.I feel like I want to trust the spread and believe we will dominate. But with TSJ back and reforming team chemistry, I don’t feel like I trust this team as much as I did, say, after the Mizzou game. We gotta get back into a consistent rhythm.
I’m thinking like an 8 pt win
76-UI
68-IU
