They are still underestimating our team, which is exactly what we need. They are keeping the motivation going for us and our team. I agree with one of the posters above.....we have to win 3 of the last 4, but 4 out of 4 no doubt gets us up to about 7th or 8th in the polls. A win in Ann Arbor an i'm going streaking down my street. But one game at a time. I'm enjoying watching us put a chokehold on teams, and in the 4th quarter watching how out of sync we are making people.
4 out of 4 and people may be wild in the streets again...... :)

We will cover this week. And no, we are not getting much respect. In some instances, we are downright disrespected and I do feel that is a good thing at this point. If our offense can continue to grow and keep from making any bonehead mistakes, we do have some room to grow. I love this team!

Not going to happen.
There are times when the Kool-Aid tastes pretty sweet. I trust this team. In past years we've been waiting for something bad to happen.
I never doubted this week when we fell behind. Every game is big and you can't look ahead, but i wonder if we can hold our own against
the big 2?

MSU has played some good teams on the road but have lost each of them by double digits. Losing S Grose and DE Young to suspension for this game is huge.

MSU has a problem we had for many years. QB Thorne is below average and not going to hurt you with his legs. Stuff the run game and MSU is going to be in a world of hurt. Also noticed MSU has only attempted 4 Field Goal Attempts all season between 2 kickers and has made 1 of them.

Illinois tends to make adjustments during the game and especially at half. MSU typically starts off slow and hopefully we can have a 2+ score difference before half and cruise in the 2nd half. The only thing we need to correct not as much for this game but as the season goes on is turning some of the FGs into TDs.

MSU Big Ten play 1st half scores

down to Minnesota 17-0
down to Maryland 21-13
down to Ohio St 35-13
down to Wisconsin 14-7 (Won game in 2OT)
down to Michigan 13-7

Hopefully this isn’t a Michigan slides off the runway/practice uniform type of rallying event but instead an absolute on the field MSU beat down.
Seems like it would be deflating.

You’re having an underwhelming season, then you play a high emotion game against your rival. You get crushed. You gang up on an injured kid on the opposing team in the tunnel after the game. Video goes viral, gets 10 million views. You lose 4 players, 2 starters, and you could lose more. Michigan player decides to press charges. A teammate or two could go to jail.

They might come out with energy during Q1, but if we go up by a score or two early, I could see MSU packing it in.

Defense loads the box because it’s harder to throw (if you feel like being charitable).

I think it would be a bigger deal if they were running a different style of offense with lots of deep shots but I wouldn't expect the wind is going to affect TDV throwing 5-10 yards downfield.
