Great expression. I used bigger/slower kids as shields. I almost went pro in dodge ball/bombardment.

Do you know there's a Pro Tag show on tv? Ridiculous. What a world. I'd rather watch Pro Dodge Ball.

I have two that I use at work to keep the mood light.

"We're out like the fat kids in dodgeball", and/or "let's make like a preacher and get the hell out of here"...which almost always get's confused looks until I say it's a thinker...and I tell them...that's a preachers job! To get the hell out of here! 🤷‍♂️ 😜

To keep it relevant to this thread, Minnesota lost to Nebraska. Will they come out on fire and torch Illini?

We have been playing down to the level of our competition. Hence losses to MD at home and PSU on road.

Great players rise to the occasion in the biggest moments - game winning shots. Eddie Johson vs MSU, Nick at Indiana, Luther vs Purdue, most recently Ayo.

Very happy to see Coleman have a great game vs Iowa. Does not change team blew a 10 point lead with 2 minutes to go at PSU. I am hopeful this team will find magic in a bottle this march but I worry about our defense and tendency to turn the ball over under pressure late in the game. Its a good team. We will find out if it is a great team.

Need more blowout wins so team can relax. 1st half of season we put away a lot teams away by half time. Competition is better but we should be improving as well. I also think Brad has not played his bench enough so starters - Coleman, Marcus and TSJ are exhausted by end of game. Coleman by defending the 5. Marcus by doing all the ball handling and TSJ by chasing the other teams leading scorer.

Ty and Quincy being reduced to 20 minutes a game has hurt our depth. Also having Amani out with injury for 6 game stretch affected us. The hockey line substitution last game gave everybody a 5 minute breather. Our 2nd five is not bad. Dain can score inside. Amani can store inside. Luke can hit the 3. It helps when the have a PG to set them up. I like DGL athleticism but he can't jack the ball everytime he touches it.

I grew up an Illini fan but didn’t watch very many games on TV until I was in high school….My age is showing a bit here with this question, but what channel did non nationally televised Illini games air on before BTN?

Antenna tv for me Channel 3/49 WCIA a Raycom production I believe. 49 was my Illinois channel.

I have no problem with what you said. However, if this steam is sneaky good and they are fighting for a post season bid they will give it their all to win this game. I'll be happy with a win. We have been a top 15 team most of the season. Second in the Big 10 for a big chunk of the season. One thing most people don't talk about on here is that we will get every team's best every game. Penn St. doesn't get every team's best. Michigan doesn't get every team's best, (at least this year) etc. etc. Not saying it's OK, just saying it's fact. We're going to get every team's best every night. if you're consistently in the top 20 that's going to happen! Just happy we're back to relevance. I believe in Brad and what he's doing. This team has a chance to make a run at the Elite 8, perhaps further. Can we really complain about that? For the record Minnesota lost by 8 at Purdue.
