It is literally our staff's job to watch film and prepare. I doubt they need Coach Twitter's help.I hope Brad sees this. I've already noticed a lot of their tendencies.

I radio at least? Although the last thing anyone wants is a distracted barber.ugh man..I'm a barber and mostly booked that day, but just randomly had some slots open from 2-3:15 and from 3:45-4:30....Hoping the game won't go past 4:30! I blocked off those open slots now! Let's go!
What’s his incentive for ncaa tourney wins?Yes. Extended to 2030 and base salary Jumps up to 5.3 mil
IDK, feels more likely the commissioner of the SWAC has a long standing burning hatred of Illinois deep in his soul.Nah its just the selection committee doesn't only look at predictive metrics, they also look at results-based metrics, where BYU does not perform as well
Winning a ring, a raise, another extension? What’s his incentive for ncaa tourney wins?

Did you look at the clip? You do know I was being sarcastic. It is literally our staff's job to watch film and prepare. I doubt they need Coach Twitter's help.
Did you know Mayberry Union High's school colors are orange and blue? I've got a pennant I bought in Mount Airy, NC, Andy's home town. I figure Floyd Lawson graduated from MUH about 1923 - at least that's what Floyd's Latin teacher at barber college told me.
Get in the film room with this long twitter thread:
Careful, those words for us in Denver are cursed words. This team can get to a final 4, I have no doubt. It all starts Thursday. Let's ride
True. Also true: none of them will come out and acknowledge in the event TJ is cleared. Pointing this out and decrying people's (media) hypocrisy and self righteousness is not some "everyone has it out for us" conspiracy theory. It is an attempt to urge people to be better humans and more professional at the job they are paid well to perform and leave bias and politics out of their "analyses."Our fans need to come to terms with the fact that if we make a deep run, the TSJ story will just become a bigger and bigger thing. Nobody "has it out for us" it's just the nature of the situation.
When hopefully the charges get dropped or TSJ gets his name cleared in a court of law (as he and his team were the ones pushing to speed up the trial dates) a lot of people will hopefully have some egg on their face.
Now, lets end it all with these persecution complexes and cheer our guys onto the Final Four!

Between the federal injunction returning TSJ to the floor and the EXTREME restraint in the way the situation has been covered by the media, we have been astonishingly lucky. My point is just .....how about we just wait to point out the media hypocrisy after the situation gets actually resolved and TSJ gets fully exonerated one way or another. Because right now the only legitimate thing the media can say (and IMO its fair for them to report) is that TSJ got charged for a heinous act, he sued for an injunction to play while the situation was ongoing, and a Judge affirmed that he was correct and granted it. Any extra editorializing *from either pro TSJ/anti TSJ side* from the media would be inappropriate in my opinion.
Anyways don't need to turn this into a media/TSJ thread, just my 2 cents.
The bolded part in particular. The fact that the first time I heard BU get a question about it came after the BTT Championship game is amazing. I also appreciated the even-keeled way Brad answered. The questions will get tougher and the coverage may make us bristle, but I truly believe that we'll be able to weather the stormBetween the federal injunction returning TSJ to the floor and the EXTREME restraint in the way the situation has been covered by the media, we have been astonishingly lucky.
"Innocent until proven guilty" is a core promise and value in our legal system that is actually afforded in practice to basically no one, especially not young African-American men accused of crimes of violence.
A conversation for an entirely different forum, but just mentioned as context for why those of us who have some experience with the criminal justice system in the US can hardly believe we've gotten to enjoy the fruits of TSJ's talents these past couple of months, and are not inclined to look that gift horse in the mouth on the increasingly rare occasions the issue gets brought up.
Let's accept the blessing of being able to focus on basketball.
Anybody remember how the March Madness app worked for game replays last year? I'm on vacation the next 2 weeks and likely won't be able to watch games live - no problem watching them later in the day when we're back at the camper. I had to find the two BTT games from this weekend that were on CBS on YouTube, because no app seemed to have the replay. That has me nervous.
I wonder if we will be doing a lot more switching like we did defensively in the Nebraska game to make that comeback. I think that may be the way to go as they don’t really have size and the athleticism shouldn’t be close. TSJ will need to be locked in on their go to guy though.I'm a little worried about all of the screening actions that they run because that is definitely a defensive weakness of Illinois. They get hung up on screens way too often and if that's the case Morehead is going to be bombing away. Looks like the play almost the exact same defense that we do so I don't think that should present too many problems.

I’ll take those matchups all day. Shut em down. Hard.
