We need to stop their star and keep everyone else consistent with their averages

We need to make our lay ups minimize unforced errors get the rebounds and keep our starters out of foul trouble
Yeah, i think we're gonna make things very difficult for Minix and do our damnedest to not let Thomas get in a groove. If so, this could be a comfy win.

Not saying we should take Morehead St or Duquesne lightly.... But in a scenario like this does the team spend any time prepping for BYU?
The staff will have the scouting reports on the teams we could face this weekend...at this point in the season there's only a few things that should change (as far as adjustments) from game to game....basically, defensive assignments...making sure a certain player doesn't get his feet set for a shot..make him move....this certain player has a tendency to back cut a lot so be prepared....offensively be prepared for double teaming...etc....it's about doing what we do more than us adjusting to our opponent

Public Service Announcement: the game will be available on the Max streaming service, formerly HBO Max.

It's part of the "Bleacher Report Add-On" which has all the sports content on the Turner networks, TNT NBA, TBS baseball, the tourney, etc. That will be an additional paid option at some point in the near future on top of the cost of Max, but for the moment it's free for all Max subscribers.

DGL played 4, 4 and 7 minutes in the Conference Tournament games after not playing at all after the Penn State loss. Minutes came at the expense of Harmon primarily.

Do we think he sees real minutes in the NCAA Tournament? It's unusual to go 9-deep.

If we make it far enough, DGL will see the floor. And what I really appreciate about this team is if he does play, I know he's gonna give it everything he's got. On less connected teams, guys like Dain and DGL would be pouting and it would be a complete disaster if they see the floor in big games. Case in point, see last year. Instead, both have gotten better, locked into their roles, and done what needs to be done. It says a lot about the coaching staff, team leaders, and individual players.

I’m impressed by DGL seemingly going from “I’m in the game to provide instant offense” to “I’m in the game to provide instant defense.”

This is less than ideal, but you can pay $9.99 for a one-month subscription to HBO Max. They are streaming all of the TBS / TNT / TruTV games this year (but not CBS games).

I know I would pay $10 to watch Illinois in the tournament if I had to. I actually already subscribe to HBO Max and I can see our game with Morehead State in the app.

Way off thread topic - but MAX is, IMO, a good value for all you get with it.

Illinois 89
Morehead State 72

TJ gets his 25 and then sits the last 4 mins
Domask with 22 on 8/14 shooting and 1 turnover getting blitzed on a back down and everyone loses their minds in the game thread
